I'm a bit curious at which expansion packs everybody has. The reason for it is because sometimes I need people to test my CC who don't have certain expansions like if I make something Base Game compatible and wonder if I actually succeeded in that.
So if you could take some time to let me know which packs you own, then maybe I or other modders can contact you if they want something tested out.
As for myself besides the Base Game:
Expansion Packs - Get To Work - Get Together - City Living

I only have Get to Work and Get Together, I don't have any of the game packs or stuff packs. Compared to TS3 packs I just don't find TS4 packs to be worth the money, since they are much smaller themes that aren't as expansive as the addons in TS3. None of their addons released so far really interest me, whereas I was on my hands and knees whining to get Sims 3 Fast Lance and High-End Loft Stuff because they added new cars and modern furnishings. TS4 has been out for two years now and there is no sight of any of these kind of awesome packs, just small ideas like the vague Cool Kitchen (which gives you more clothes than actual buy mode objects) and Movie Hangout. (Seriously, where the hell do they get these ideas from?) Are these kind of small ideas for packs instead of cars and high-tech stuff in demand now?
(I hope I don't kill off this thread with my rant, it has happened to me before with other forums )
simtress , That must be a looooong time back then! Haha I think it was when I made my Alphabet wall decals and such, so I eventually figured things out.
Bugattiman253mph , No you don't kill the thread It's perfectly fine to give your opinion on the way EA releases their Packs. I even admit that those stuff packs are a bit of a joke if you take a look at what you get for your money. That's also the reason I didn't bought them separately. It would be cool to have them probably, but I think it's not worth my money right now. If people feel the urge of gift them to me, I'm totally fine with that The 2 Stuff packs that I do have came in a bundle together with a game pack.
I think my reason for it is cause I like to build and I like create different things with them if not for the cas it mostly just for the build buy more things for me to tinker and play with.
As I don't play the game at all, that's the exact same reason I got all Exansion- and Game Packs right now. (Besides Vampires, but that one will come too eventually.) I like building a lot and I see a lot of different modding ideas when looking at what you get with new expansions.
I'm falling way behind in the Sims 4 as I don't have much time to play. Well, who am I kidding I haven't played for a long time but I do enjoy building and decorating with all the fantastic stuff people make!
Even as I cannot play much I do like to read about the expansions and what people think of them. And, I still intend to play when I have more time especially if they come out with Pets or a Makin Magic, or some sort of World Adventures with a lot of diverse architecture.
I still need:
Vampires! Vintage Galmour City Living Backyard Stuff Cool Kitchen Stuff
I know I'm going get vampires soon an few others I just cant decided what others stuff packs I want either vintage or backyard or patio not sure, lol I keep jumping back and forth on which one lol but wanted share a earlier build back before I I got started buying a lot of stuff pack this only built with base game and outdoor retreat pack at the time. 9bd,6 bath Home. it is on my gallery to. I think I was just inspired to build it an I took off on it all 5 floors . and if you wanna place then this in game as any other turn on MMO before placement. This house was base off he Old lady who live in a shoe and had all the lil kiddo's. theme I don't know one day I got that idea stuck in my head and wanted to build it so I did.
Unfortunately (!? ) I have everything... for Sims 1, 2, 3 and now 4. It's the sad story of an addiction. Usually I don't play with simmies, but I absolutely need to build and decorate. When a new pack is released I don't really know what it adds to gameplay, but I check feverishly all new objects for my houses . For example, I am not greatly interested in vampires, but was delighted with some very nice things in the pack.
It is absolute madness and I fear that there is no cure, but there is also no cruel pain, except for simoleons and some overloaded shelves...and many shortened nights.
More seriously: There are however two packs that I adored - for gameplay- in the previous sims games: Pets and Seasons. Hopefully Ea will release them for Sims 4.
Have ALL lots of fun!
Yunanesca, your house is really beautiful and creative, love it.
