I frankenmeshed a hair that ended up working perfectly in game, but I did a second one, and LOD0 and LOD1 import just fine, but when I try 2 and 3, it acts like it's loading, and then stops, not importing the meshes. any ideas why this may be happening?

That happened to me before, I think my issue was the cut numbers were different or lost UV map. See if that is the case, sorry I'm not much help.

I'm not sure what you mean by "numbers were cut." I don't think I lost the UV map, it kept its texture and stuff.

poo! I TOTALLY forgot that step! i'll try that, thanks! hmm, but I didn't do that with the one that worked, should I do it to that one anyway?

Groups and their cut numbers have to always match exactly the original mesh to be imported correctly.

If the first one worked they must have matched. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. LOL
