Hi all,
I resized the EA triple candles to fit on the tray better and to be more appropriate in size. I thought that the "flames" would be scripted in the portion of the wicks and would just move accordingly since I didn't change anything except for the size, but when I put the candles in the game the flames are way above the candles at the original position.
Where do I find this info to recitify that? And, is there a tutorial on how to adjust things like this?
I was also wondering the same thing regarding fireplaces? I'd like to make a fireplace that has a raised hearth, but in order to do that, the opening would be higher than the standard EA fireplace since I would need to raise the fireplace in order to put the hearth beneath it.
Thanks for any help!

Hi Chicklet45368, there is a tutorial HERE that shows how to adjust the height of the candle flame effect but it may be more involved than what you need. How did you go about resizing the candles?

Thanks for the link! I will read it now. I simply resized each individual candle in blender by selecting all the faces and scaling them and repositioning them on the tray.

If you know how much you scaled the candles by, you should be able to scale the effect slots by the same amount to get them to the right height. Because you moved the candles after scaling them, you will also have to move the slots to get them positioned over the candles again. You should be able to get the x and y coordinates for those moves from Blender.

Welllll, unfortunately, I just did the eyeball trick "Ok, that looks good" lol, so I will have to do the whole schbang with them. I read the tutorial, and my eyes crossed, so that will have to be revisited when it's not so late (and noisy and distracting in my house!) so I can concentrate on it better.
But, I appreciate you answering and furnishing a tutorial for future reference as well!
