I discovered this neat trick recently and when I wanted to try it for myself the blender kept crashing (forcing me to close it) before it could open the exported file saved from the studio. When I open the saved file from blender on its own the program will open, but there won't be an image of the sim (same thing if I open the same file under file menu in the program). I'm not sure what's going on. I followed the steps exactly in order from a Youtube video as to how to export the image from the studio to the blender and this happened. Is there a solution? Thanks in advance. P.S. I have the latest version of the studio mentioned here (v3.0.1.4 (Harmony)) and the latest blender version (2.78c-windows64) if that helps.

What neat trick are you talking about? what video? What are you trying to do exactly ? If the blender file opens on it's own and directly from blender, I don't really get the issue

Basically I want to try blending two of the already created hairstyles together to make a "new" one, but neither image will open in the blender program after exporting and saving them from the studio one.

mistywaters that trick called frankenmeshing in sims community. I see you use Blender 2.78. Download either 2.70 or 2.76 version. The latest version of Blender has an unknown bug that has been not tracked down yet. You can keep it on computer, just download 2.70 or 2.76 as zip folder, unzip it and change the path in Studio.
