Hi, I just started to work with blender, I just made my first mesh. But when I save it, it's save as blender and I cant' open it with sims 4 studio. I can't save it as mesh o package from blender. So how do I do it? so I can use it in sims 4 studio. I look at the tutorials, but i feel like I'm missing something :( Please help me, thanks.

mssconstance15 You will need to open your project (your cloned S4 item) as a package file in Sims4Studio first, then on a Lod tab you will see import button use it to import your new mesh (blend file) into Lod 0 ... But if you start the project from creating your mesh in blender from scratch and didn't cloned anything as a base for your creation yet... You will need to do quite a few steps before you can successfully import your new mesh into package.

Hi mssconstance15, as Xelenn said, you need to have a package to import your new mesh into. Studio can open packages and import blends into them but it cannot open a blend directly. Are you working with objects or CAS? We have tutorials in the tutorial section here that show how to get started with both kinds of project.

Thanks, orangemittens, Xelenn. I'm working with object and I made a pillow, as my first try. So which object will be best for making the pillow from sims 4 studio?

I couldn't find that tutorial I used for my first pillow cc. I'm pretty sure it was orangemittens tutorial - pillows from the books clone. mssconstance15 you can use any simple floor sculpture as a clone (the books as exampe) But would be nice if someone knows where this detailed tutorial hiding) Let's wait.

I suggest using a small clutter or sculpture object. If your pillow needs an alpha, I suggest using a small potted plant. There is a tutorial in the Build/Buy/Tuning section that shows how to get an existing mesh into a package that will work in the game HERE. For objects, the process is fairly easy and quick. Basically, all you need to do is be sure you have the right cut number given to your mesh. The tutorial I linked goes over that. Xelenn, I think the one you're referring to is the one I wrote showing how to convert a Sims 2 package to Sims 4. That one would also be helpful although it does contain some steps that may not be necessary depending on how this mesh is mapped and how many mesh groups it has.

one question, I import my mesh but It´s too big(in blender with the book). I don't know why, is there a way to make it smaller?

You need to resize the model in blender. Here's a tutorial for that, at 3:51.
I suggest checking out the tools that blender has and seeing what each one does, that's the best way to learn about it. For any basics, there's a lot of videos to help you out in youtube.
