I don't know a thing about modding. The only reason I want to learn is so I stop bothering people to make things for me and hopefully I can make a couple for myself. Right now I am trying to create a mod that makes it so that Sims do not require finishing a Daily Task in order to advance in their jobs.
Where do I start? I keep seeing stuff about objects, meshing, textures, etc. but this isn't like that. I just want to learn how to tune certain things in the game. Like removing the need for ingredients for all meals without having to buy every single pack available because the only mods out right now that change meals & recipes require more and more things to be actually bought. I only have GTW & OR ontop of having the deluxe thing for Sims 4 base. Sorry for babbling I'm just nervous.
Where do I go to learn how to make these kinds of mods?

Hello! So for Sims there are two broad category descriptors that I have found: CC - Encompasses Mesh, Texture, New Item, MOD - Something which changes or adds something to the way the game functions or objects which use custom scripts. So I assume you want to make MODS, and more narrowly TUNING MODS. Now, I have some good news, because most simple tuning MODS are within Sims4Studio area! Scroll down to TUNING.However if you want to go more complex, with script/core mods. Try this thread, scroll down to CODING.
