Hey, I'm having a few troubles I kinda can't find an answer to. It might be a few noob questions -- I have a lot of knowledge of meshing but somehow importing it all to the sims 4 is a problem Question 1:
I created and unwrapped my clothing mesh. However when I want to import my new mesh in s4studio, nothing shows up. I tried changing the cut number for the new mesh, but that doesn't work either. I really can't find alot about importing new clothing meshes. I've tried to import it with S4CAS Tools, which worked. Question 2: I've made a sofa mesh too, however when I want to place it into the game, it says 'object intersecting with the floor'. My sim isn't able to sit on it. I already placed my mesh above and on the floor/grid but that didn't work so I'm clueless. :( Thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate it!

hi! Have you tried going through the tutorials listed on the CAS section, specially this one? That covers the basic of it, afterwards you'll have to do: - Weight transfer. - UV_1 (morphs, see video at the bottom of the 1st post).- vertex paint (so sliders and uv_1 work). For both questions, it'd be necessary for you to share the blend and package files so someone can take a look at it and see what's the problem with those specific items.

hi! I've taken a look at your files and you seem to be having the same problem in both. You can't have two groups with the same cut number because s4s will import only one of them. In your clothing blend, you have two groups with 0000. You have to join those two into 1. Be sure to check this in-depth tutorial to know what you should be doing next. It will help you a lot, and it will tell you how to properly place the uv as well. As for the object blend, you have 2 shadow groups with the same cut number. You have to join those into one as well. And the error comes from the shadow planes being under the coordinate lines. So you should move all of those planes up.

Thanks alot! That worked. However, my sim still isn't able to sit on the couch. I tried to place the slots higher, but it still doesn't work. I tried a 2p and a 3p couch aswell. What's the right placement for the slots? They are above the couch right now.

Slot height is irrelevant they will just sit off the sofa or sink in it. Your problem is the footprint. The chase bit on the end is causing to footprint to go out as far as it does, so its blocking the path to the sofa. The only way I know how to overcome that problem is to replace the footprint with a rug footprint, but then the sim will walk through the sofa. Ive made similar things before and had to make two separate items for the exact same reason. Ill look into one other thing I just thought off.
