I decided to convert the Love Sculpture I made for Sims 3 so I can use it in Sims 4. It has 4 slots and, thanks to Andrew's hard work, you can use the in-game Design Tool to change its colors even after you've placed it on a wall. It's located in the Decorations/Wall Decorations category. The download is below the first picture, all swatch choices are shown, and all pictures are in-game screen shots. I hope you will enjoy the sculpture
This item is ok to recolor and you can share your recolors of it but use the recolor feature in Sims 4 Studio (Joy) or versions of Studio above that.

I love this Orangemittens! Would love to learn how to mesh but it was too complicated for Sims 2 and I would imagine it would be twice as hard for Sims 4. The only things I meshed was a table, bed, and I even tried to tackle making a pillow - It blew my mind. That was the end of my meshing after that pillow (smile). I never understood how to make curves like when making a curved head board on a bed. How did you make the letters? I wish S4S had basic to intermediate meshing tutorials. If so, I might try my hand at meshing again.

Hi sherry, I'm really glad you like the sculpture. If you're interested in a basic tutorial I've started posting one that goes over how to mesh a painting using Blender. The tutorial goes over every step required to make a new object and is aimed at people who have no experience with creating things for a game. The Blender portion of the tutorial is very detailed and provides an illustration of every single step. So far I've posted the mesh making, mesh mapping, and image creation sections. The next section should be up over the weekend and it will cover the lower lods and shadow meshes for the object.

It works with the design tool?! Does this require an unreleased version of Studio or will there be a tutorial forthcoming?

It does work with the design tool. It was posted as a proof of concept for the upcoming version of Studio which is which we're hopeful (but not promising) will be out now. Andrew has added a feature to it that will allow new object recolors and meshes made with Studio to work with the design tool. 13 pumpkin it will be free to recolor, and I will add that to the description in a bit, but you should hold off for the new version of Studio to make recolors. The current version of Studio is not able to make a clone that will successfully work with the design tool but the next beta out will do so.

Ok...so before you told me to hold off on recoloring it...I had made a few recolors A little note: I tried to use the recolor tool and "script failed" Not sure if this is because we need to wait on the new version of S4S? Anyways...I love it ♥

It is because the version of Love you used cannot make items that work with the design tool The new version of Love that was just posted can. Download that and remake your recolors
