Your uv is on top of the sim body while your mesh doesn't include the body. I assume you're making it as an accessory. You need to move your uv map to the lower right corner otherwise it's going to overwrite texture from other items. That's why in your first picture the texture of the armor went onto the body. Also your texture map isn't covering all the uv map. You'll need to fix that too.
