hi folks i think i vertex painted my mesh wrong because the mesh doesnt work for bigger sims, could someone explain what the individual colours represent when painting so i can try again?
(ps i know orangemittens weote a turorial im still just a wee bit fuzzy though)

Vertex Painting is one thing, but perhaps it could simply be your actual uv that is the issue. More specifically it is uv_1 that dictates how well your mesh will work with sliders and morphs. You can look at a tutorial here by eliavah or perhaps upload your .package and blend file so someone can have a closer look to be certain.

hi! Please follow the video tutorial at the bottom of the tutorial post. It's much easier to follow, you don't need to be moving anything on the UV map window.

Try following the video tutorial as inabadromance said, it's actually a quite simple tutorial to be honest. It's pretty much load file containing new mesh > append an ea mesh > set modifier to new mesh > adjust settings > apply > delete ea mesh. I tell you, it's a godsend for conversions and shoe making lol
