I am starting to re-texture hair, it seemed simple enough from the videos I watched but when I save my file (in .dds form) and then I go to import my new texture, my sim turns completely white. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone please help? I've attached a picture of what it looks like when I'm saving my .dds file and then my white sim after I import my new texture. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I've tried messing with the settings on the .dds saving thing, I've checked to make sure my Sims 4 Studio is updated. Oh yeah, I have Adobe Photoshop CS2, in case that helps with anything. Another note: I am only doing this for personal use only, I'm not going to upload any of this - this is just for practice uses only right now. If I do ever plan to upload it, I will get the creators permission before doing so! I also forgot to add that my sim stays white when I go into the game, in both CAS and in game. hi! If you're using some sort of psd action to recolor it might have flatten all your texture causing the transparency to be deleted. If you're working with .dds then that is edited through the alpha channel. So be sure to have that layer in your file. If you don't see it, then you need to manually add the layer and paste the alpha again. You can re export the original texture and copy from there.
