Hello, just thought I'd mention that this version seems to give errors when ripping sims that are wearing 'auto height' shoes (shoes that use a mesh to adjust slotray position). Any sim that is wearing these shoes (at least on my PC) results in the 'object reference not set to an instance of an object' error, but they can be ripped perfectly every time when the shoes are removed. This error appears to be new in this version, not encountered in prior ones.

Same problem, there seemed to be something wrong with the installer download completing at 0 bytes, but the zipped option works fine.

Hi! I'm sure this isn't helpful at all, but I've had similar issues with some cc pieces (that I've downloaded and didn't make myself) recently. Some of the cc I've had since a while back. Unfortunately I can't help you, but maybe it's not something specific with the TV you made but some other glitch (?) Thanks for replying, ashabasha.
Through trial and error I was able to figure out that it was by the 'Adjust Footprint to Mesh' button causing the issue, however I've been unable so far to find any information on why this is happening or how to fix it.

Hello, just wondering how I've managed to break this piece of CC.
I cloned a cheap TV, replaced the textures and LODs, but found that when I move it around in Buy Mode, it sometimes turns invisible, sometimes it remains invisible, and sometimes it doesn't turn invisible at all,
I've never had this problem before cloning TVs, so I'm at a loss.
Edit: This issue only happens when hitting the Adjust Footprint to Mesh button after importing new LODs. If the option is not used, the mesh is fine in game (albeit with a footprint that doesn't match). If the option is used, the footprint matches but the object flickers in and out of existence while placing (and sometimes vanishes altogether).

Hmm, I thought this was meant to happen automatically. I notified the developers just in case this used to happen automatically and no longer is If it means anything, the exact method I had to use was to hit the Add Swatch button immediately after cloning a new item, use the conversion tool from the drop down, save the package, close and reopen the package, and then I was able to import the .png/.dds images to the second swatch I'd created. I had to delete the first swatch because no matter what I did, nothing would import into it. Kinda weird workaround.

When you are importing them as dds, do you save them with these settings? Yes. Neither this .dds setting nor simple .png format works.
Edit: I figured it out. Before importing anything and just after cloning the item, I had to use the Modding option from the Tool dropdown 'convert RLE2 to LRLE'. After that I was able to import images like normal.

Hello! I was using 3.2.0.2 but updated to 3.2.0.3 last night to see if it would fix the issue. It didn't. Also want to confirm it is happening for all cosmetics: lips, eyeshadow, blush. But not any other items. Clothing, furniture, accessories are all fine. Game is up to date.

As per the title, I tried to make a lipstick today after ages of not making one only to find the .package won't update or save any changes I make.
I go ahead and clone a CAS standalone package as per usual, chose a lipstick, and then go to import my image. The texture preview box updates when the texture is imported, but the model does not. When I save and reopen, the texture has been replaced by the original and my prior changes were not saved. I've tried both .png and .dds textures, neither work. Clothes and objects are working just fine, but all cosmetics do this.
Any ideas? It's been ages since I made cosmetics, so I assume some important step has changed, but I'm unsure what that step is.

It looks like the weights are not assigned correctly. It also looks like you're using the HQ mod but haven't adjusted the texture sizes of your new clothing.

It looks like your materials haven't exported correctly. Try and export them with these settings:

How to fix the broken render?? Your top mesh has overlapping flipped verts around the neck and collar (the inside of the shirt). Locate them on the UV map and erase them.

Hi guys, So the latest update of Photoshop requires the newest download of the Nvidia .dds plugin to work.
Traditionally the plugin would give us these options to export:
But the new plugin gives me this:
There doesn't seem to be a DXT5 option available from the format options at all and older plugins will not work with Photoshop 22.0.0 Is there a way around this or specific settings I should be looking at? Or another way to make shadow maps successfully?

I won't be updating my game until this mod is updated with the patch this is my primary goto mod. Dang it, I didn't get an option to delay and now all the script mods are broken T_T

Sorry for the double post, but it is also worth noting that your UVs need to be corrected. You could move them up to the "hat" area, perhaps, although you won't be able to use hats with the top without textures overlapping. The darkness happening when you try and bake is caused because you're trying to bake two areas to the same UV map (both the inside and outside of the top mesh). The only way to fix that is to remove the inner side of the top and then bake the outside separately.
