I loved the BBQ Time Outdoor Kitchen by mensure on TSR for The Sims 3, but I've not yet found anything similar for TS4. I'm looking for an all-brick outdoor kitchen set, and this one really fits the bill, but it's for TS3. Mensure stopped modding and supporting their mods in 2017, and I don't know if they've given permission for their items to be converted. Does anyone know if this set has already been converted or if there's something similar out there that I may have missed? Different brick colors are fine. Here is a link to the set on TSR: www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/details/category/sims3-sets-objects-garden/title/bbq-time-outdoor-kitchen/id/1166981/. Thanks so much for your time!

Another question...from the "My CC" section, is there any way to tell if something is a clothing item or an accessory? For example, some leggings are clothing bottoms, and some are accessory socks...but I'm having difficulty telling from this section of S4S.

I'm going through my monster list of cc, recategorizing, fixing bits and bobs details on the items and doing the sorting I should have done whilst downloading. In the process, I'm finding cc that I really don't want in my game any longer. How can I know if a particular item's mesh is needed for another piece of cc, without removing it and looking for the fallout? Is there a way to see a list of "dependent files", if that's a thing?

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, I'd seen that site and it really is fabulous. Still, not a lot of material for males. I'm working on some recolors, and I'm going to barrel through the prehistory stage so I can get to some of the other ages that have more to work with.

I'm really struggling to find content for my story theme. I wonder if I'm just bad at searching for content! I'm doing the History Challenge, and I've exhausted the links in this thread and via the History Challenge links. I'm looking for Barbarian themed clothing, predominantly for males. I'd like to find some primitive armor, to use with my barbarians and orcs. Pauldrons! Where are the Pauldrons?! I did find some for females in the pinned theme thread (thank you), but am aching for more. My male sims are dressed too similarly...and primitive people would have dressed in layers. Everything in Sims 4 for males is so very...flat. As I'm new to creating content (have only created paintings and done a few poor excuses for recolors), everything looks so very complicated, which, I assume is why there just isn't a lot of material. Or maybe my own desires are too disparate from the norm, which focuses on modern clothing.
On searching for CC: Google is NOT my friend. Anytime I search for "Sims 4 XYZ" I get plenty of Sims 3 & Second Life, but nothing for Sims 4. *sadpanda*.
I search Tumbler, the creator studios here, The Sims Resource, Google, Mod The Sims, and Pinterest. Any tips for improving my search skills would be appreciated!
One last note, the Noir and Dark Tumbler page seems to be no longer available. Someone may want to update the Themed Content post.

I'm looking for Ginko's dragon horns and mermaid ears converted for TS4. I've tried to locate the TS3 files, and can't even find those. I've personally only made wall paintings and recolors, so conversions (if I could find the files) are new to me. If someone has already converted them, I'd appreciate a link. If not, then this is a request instead. Thank you so much, modders, for all your amazing work! Here is a link to images of the items I'm requesting: simplysims.blogspot.com/2013/07/dragon-horns-by-ginko-at-daisy-sims-3.html

I always loved the Lorandia Athletic clothing for TS3. I feel that athletic clothing in Sims 4 is extremely limited, and would very much appreciate some of the Lorandia style fitness attire. Especially the flirty fitness pants and tops that go with them. The site owner has stated that all their creations can be freely converted to Sims 4, with credit (TOU for this on the main page of the website). They can be found here: www.lorandiasims3.com/moreviews.php?cat=clothing&id=407Thank you so much for considering!

I actually think I've figured it out! Just now, whilst starting over again, I followed the same steps, but unchecked the box marked "load mip maps" in photoshop when I was importing the .dds from S4S. Now I only have one lovely painting texture to recolor, instead of my infinitely smaller images. I'm pretty sure that's going to be my issue.

I'm new, and this is my first TS4 CC attempt. Before reading my post, please know that I read the "read this first" pinned posts at the top, and was unable to find an answer to my problem - however being new, I admit that I may have missed any explanation due to lack of understanding and ignorance regarding certain terms. Please be gentle. I wanted to make some Harry Potter recolors of a canvas. I decided to use the Leaf Pile Prints from Dine Out. Using S4S I saved the package file with my new name and edited the catalogue info. I exported the texture, and brought that into Photoshop CC as a .dds file. Now, here's where I'm having trouble, I think - and I'm not sure this is the right place to post my question (because it's a combination of Photoshop and S4S). The canvas texture appears in Photoshop as an infinitely smaller repeat like so: I added my desired photos over the leaf pattern, and resized them for the smaller and smaller patterns, flattened the image and imported the new texture into S4S. Fixed the swatch colors, and then saved it and copied the package file to my game mods folder. Here's how it looks in game though: I assume it's something to do with me covering those infinitely smaller images in the texture, so I tried again with The Numbers Woman's blank canvases, and only pasted a picture over the first and largest one like so: This time, I get "Your image here" as a ghost under my HP reference image. :/ I tried to follow a tutorial for recoloring paintings, but the tutorials I've found don't have textures like what I'm seeing - no infinitely smaller textures on the screen, just the one with an obvious area to place your own images. Please link a tutorial for this kind of canvas recolor, if there is one that I've missed. I will continue looking as well. Thank you so much for all the hard work put into S4S, and a huge hug to anyone who reads my post and/or responds to it. Holding a new person's hand can be a challenge - know that I appreciate it!
