Hi.
A few days ago I posted the same question regarding EnvironmentScoreEmotionTag properties on Sims4Studio.com, TheSimsResource.Com, and ModTheSims.Info, and no one touched it with a ten-foot pole. Googling it only produced my own questions. Does anyone know of a site or forum where I can ask those types of questions with people in the know who can answer? I figured if no where else that it'd be on this site considering the properties are exposed on the interface on this site's mod editor. If it was merely a problem if posting it in the wrong forum, please let me know.
Thanks.

Yes it is cc. Hmmm, it seems to only work as a standalone. I tried that and it worked the first time... How strange. Adding the recolour as a swatch apparently breaks the whole dress. :( Some other people may handle it differently, but this what I do when I want to recolor someone else's CC (besides ask permission if I plan to use it for other than for myself):
1. Put the mod in your mods folder in the game as you would ordinarily. 2. Put the mod in sims4studio mods folder 3. Launch Sims4Studio.
4. Be it CAS or an Object, select New standalone 5. Find the mod in the catalog and create a new object from it. 6. Recolor to your heart's content and place it in the game.
Your recolored object will be based on an object already in the game, but have its own object ID, so there's no concern about it conflicting in the game with the original.
Also, because the original is in the game, you don't have to worry about the object's footprint showing up as missing in the game. You borrowed it from the copy in the Sims4Studio folders when you created a new object from.
Without all the resources in your recolor, it also means that you'll forever need the original in your game folder for you to be able to place the recolored version.
Another plus side of the above technique, let's say you make 20 swatches worth of recolors one time, and then later decide oh my, I could apply a whole other set of recolors to that with a different theme (say, Christmas versus Halloween for a wine bottle label, gee, why would I be citing that example, hm...). With the original object residing in your sims4studio mods folder, you can make multiple copies of objects from that, and not have to worry about constantly updating swatches for the first recolored version.
I've used the above technique for both cas items and objects.

What is the functional difference between setting an EnvironmentScoreEmotionTag and setting an EnvironmentScoreEmotionTag32? Not knowing the difference, what I usually do is set both properties (say, for instance, to 325 which is Flirty) and then add two identical entries under EnvironmentScores to handle both.
Does the game handle them differently in any way, and does one take precedent over the other?

I'm not familiar with adding cas part swatches. I usually just make a slew of stand-alone swatches from a cas object that is native to the game. Is what you're attempting to recolor native to the game or someone else's CC?

Get Famous Monolith TV resized to 2x its normal size. 4 recolors added. I wanted a theater-sized television, but nothing was large enough for the basement theater room I had, so I took the Get Famous Monolith TV and resized it 2x its normal size. Someone asked on another web site why not just use the built in [ and ] resize options, and my reply was that those options increase / decrease objects in all 3 dimensions, which would have made this TV thicker as well as wider and higher, which wouldn't have been useful, so this resized TV is no thicker than the original. Cost: 2000 Simoleans Catalog: Electronics (TV Sets, TV) and Venue (Club, Bar, Karaoke) Requires a 3x high ceiling to place. Note: the chassis size has been increased, but not the video resolution. It's the default. Also wasn't necessary to increase the texture resolution of the chassis. Created using Sims4Studio and Paint.net
New colors:

Stand-alone high-resolution marble textures applied to a larger version of the mesh of the Stone Faced Wall Fountain. Light emits a dim to moderate blue glow rather than the default. 8 swatches of 4 repeating colors, 4 light, 4 dark. Flagged as a water producer. Requires Vampires. Note: The light brown texture lights up really brightly in low light, and I've decided to leave it that way.
Created with Sims4Studio, Blender, and Paint.net. My complete public collection for Sims 4 is hosted on NexusMods.
Enjoy!

Hi, is there any way for the S4S carpet object to support transparency? It's square and I tried using it for a circular carpet but the corners were solid black rather than alpha.
