So I got a new PC and got the newest S4S version and noticed I can no longer remove the default shorts from the model viewer. As I'm trying to make skin tight clothing this is bothering me so much, does anyone has an override that works? I tried making an override from the "nude" option as someone posted years ago, but it doesn't work anymore.

did you use the custom content filter on build mode? Something tells me that you created a swatch for one of the default floors.

Don't we all hate how big a forehead can get in the sims? I mean, it fits some kinds of faces, but I noticed that it gets weird every time I make a more hispanic looking sim that would have low hairline. Is there any CC that you may have options for this? Hairstyles seems so hard to create, not sure I could ever make something like this, just posting that picture for you guys understand what kind of hairline I'm talking about. PS: male/female/child, any kind of hairstyle will be appreciated.

The sims 4 doesn't support BC7 dds file type, those are from direct 11, the dds files used are ranged until 10. So change the compression type to BC1/3/5 depending on your needs. If the image has an alpha channel (or transparency if you're not separating stuff) you should use BC5 with interpolated alpha (that has a lot of compression btw). Didn't know about that tool you're using, maybe only for cuda software, I used a intel exporter that do a great job with Dx5 compression.

Ok, just got it working, very plain easy, the base skin is a set of items you can create an override in S4S interface. Select a CAS override and search under the section "head", you'll see a basic sim body view, select all the models you want to make skins to and save your package. In this package you can change the skins as you want them place them on the S4S mods folder and BAM it'll work. Weird that the female model shows up two skins for me, no sure why. Just replaced both, this will only be used on the S4S viewport anyways so no much of a big deal. Is this telling me how to make my own skins to apply it to the viewer? because if so, I don't know how to make my own which is why I was wondering if brujah had an updated link or not to their skins. But, Thank you for that info I had no idea they even had the male, female, and toddler base bodies. I def learned something new. But, lets just say I wanted to put a skin in the viewer without using brujah's, could I just use the ones that other cc creators have made? Like skinblends and etc. If so, could you tell me how? You can use any CC you want, just need to know how to extract the texture files from that CC and import on the package you can create with the tool like I said before. But maybe you never used the Sims 4 Studio right? It's not hard btw, super accessible. I do make a lot of my recolors and new stuff thanks to it (planning to start posting soon, lost most of my CC btw). Have you ever used the S4S before?

Is there a updated link of the skins for the model viewer anywhere? because the link is broken by brujah. Ok, just got it working, very plain easy, the base skin is a set of items you can create as an override by the Sims 4 Studio itself. Select a CAS override in the main menu and search under the section "head", you'll see a basic sim body view, select all the models you want to make skins to and save your package, toddlers and others may be found below the list. In this package you can change the skins as you want them place them on the S4S mods folder and BAM it'll work. Weird that the female model shows up two skins options for me, not sure why.

Yeah, I reinstalled it and didn't realize that the custom skin I was using before was all set as usual, but doesn't work anymore probably due the patch. The default bottom clothing though was removed with the override. I guess we'll have to access the base skin to make an override, not sure how that works though.

Hi @billyroth. While I myself have never had (or noticed, at least) that happening, what you are displaying is a radical difference in values..! o_0 Have you tried, instead of importing the .xml into Studio in Warehouse, simply selecting all in Notepad++ and pasting it into the XML area in Studio instead, then saving & re-opening to check if the values have stayed as what you desired? Just something that I sometimes find myself doing, so I though to ask if you had tried that approach. (I use Notepad++ almost exclusively for tuning .xml files myself) Cheers! Hello Minimonster. actually I did try to edit inside the studio, and pasting it too! But after saving the package it changes the values, I'm working with S4PE to get this done btw but S4S interface would make it so much easier (I already use it as default for packages). Thanks for the response thou

Hello folks, I'm currently modifying global light settings in a XML file, but every time I save my floats are converted into integers inside S4S (actual version 3.1.2.4). Tried to export and edit on notepad++ and when I import it through the warehouse it looks fine, but when I save the package if I open again I'll find the float values as integers.
The first picture inside S4S and the second in notepad with the right values:
Am I doing something wrong, or it is a bug?

Well even with the custom skin I can't get rid of those shorts here and it really would help me with some tattoos and bottom clothing. I ran the batch fixes for non default garments, as there is the custom skin by Brujah. I'm using the current version (Harmony 3.0.1.9) any guesses?
