Turns out it doesn't affect the animation. So ... solved? I guess?

I just realized that the root bind point is very displaced for my animation and it's about 80% complete. Kind of panicking cause I dont want a total do-over. Please help! Is there any way to salvage this easily? And how did this happen? Here's an attached image of what I'm talking about.

I did some extensive googling but I couldn't find any links that were helpful. Basically I want to add articles of clothes, hair, glasses and other cas items onto the rig model. I make poses, and this is something I'd like to do as a clipping check (since these are mostly for personal use). I want to know if I craft a pose out, the hair isn't going to be in a Sim's face or arms/legs just disappear into the clothes.
There used to be a plugin for blender for The Sims 3 which made things SO easy and convenient. It was under > s3PY Rig tools > Load CAS.
I was wondering if there was something like that for The Sims 4?
