Hi guys, I've been trying to recolor this to transparent the whole night and it's just not cooperating. Objective: Recolor this dress into sheer fabric. Here's everything I've done so far:- Joined legs from default s4s to the mesh
- Removed the "floor" for the dress so it's hollow
- Applied gradient to alpha and reduced opacity for RGB output for the Diffuse
Additional:Please help look into what's wrong and where I can go about fixing this: www.simfileshare.net/download/823854/I've included the original opaque into the swatches to indicate what it actually looks like previously.

Hi inabadromance! Thank you for replying. I finally got around testing out the files and changing them to as you said, but it still isnt working. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like in-game as well as the file. I'm not sure what I'm still doing wrong. Hope that you'll be able to advice something? link: www.simfileshare.net/download/684215/screenshot:

Hey yall. I recently downloaded Siminspring's House Number. While it is showing up in game, it's all red and doesn't have a green grid-placer on the bottom and is unplacable. Is there anything I can do to fix this cc? Download link: [Simsinspring House Number]It's supposed to look like this:

Oh boy, I tinkered around with the Region Map and changed the Base to 0 (attached is before I changed it -- I didn't know which one so I changed both to 0) but the problem still persists. I've taken out all the mods and leaving just this one, and its still not showing. Any tips? Is it possible for me to clone the mesh object onto another base?

I would change Base to 0 in Region Map and check if that helped. Could you tell me where I can do that? I've searched thoroughly on Blender and I have no idea where its been hidden (Google didn't bring up anything either). Thank you!!

clowve your sim must been wearing something that cancels accessories. I've tried it with no clothes and it still doesn't show. I'm bewildered.

Yeah! How is it working on yours annabluu! I can only get it to appear Sims 4 Studio and blender. Only the thumbnail for it shows up in game but it remains invisible.

Have you checked if it's because of the selected mesh item? Usually EA hair meshes have 3 meshes because they include chopped hair for hat accessories. Maybe deselect the unnecessary ones (click on the eyeball icon) until you find a mesh that's complete. Otherwise, try to re-extract the mesh from Sims 4 Studio.

Hi all, I'm trying to fix this accessory which I just downloaded from a creator. The creator isn't responding, so I'm taking it into my own hands to try to fix this issue. The accessory is apparently Base Game Compatible. The problem: Basically, the accessory is not appearing in-game. The icon shows up, but the accessory itself doesn't. Somehow it's invisible. I've previously fixed a bunch of cc which didnt work and have successfully managed to rework them so that they'll even work on versions as old as 1.20.60.1020 (what I was running on last before I updated). Almost all are always resolved by reappending them onto another EA base. But this time, it isnt working. What I've tried:1. Separate the mesh and append it onto a nude top that was from an EA base game accessory. -- didn't work. 2. Manually reassigning bones in vertex group -- didn't work (maybe I'm doing it wrong?) I'm running on: 1.29.69.1020 (and probably won't be updating due to me keeping my mods alive) Download link: simfileshare.net/filedetails/400933/Maybe you guys could figure out whats wrong? I'm at my wits end.

The blend somehow got bugged. I tried several things, but what worked was separate the shirt from the body (select, ctrl+p / selection) to another mesh group. Then, recalculate from the uv tab. And then join everything again. HERE's the modified file, let me know if it imports properly on your side. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. Wow I would've never found out on my own that it was a blend issue. Could you teach me how to recalculate from the UV tab? or link me some useful links? I'm still fairly unfamiliar with Blender myself, only focusing primarily on pose-making and recently trying out frankenmeshing. Separately, I recently had an animation that had massive problems trying to get imported into S4S as well (which resulted in the animation just doing the T-pose) and could only work once I imported an older version of the blend. Do you think some setting in my Blender might be the root of both problems?

It is better to not use nudes or underwear as a base. Please clone another base game top and share the package you're working with. Are you a windows or apple user? Thank you so much for replying! I'm on Windows 7. Here's the package file I'm working with here . I've imported the separated mesh into the package file already. I've even imported the same file for all 4 LODs. I dont know why it isnt showing up at all.

Hi. The top is correctly done on the blend file. You should clone a base game top and import the mesh into that, not into the full body package. Is this for personal use? Yeap its for personal use ☺️ The weird thing is, the mesh refuses to load on import. Nothing is showing up, so idk if it's something I am doing wrong? You have to have a top you want to replace it with. Pick a top and go into meshes and import your mesh. This is the important part make sure the top you're replacing has the same number of cuts as your mesh. I'm using a the default bra to import my mesh into because it has only one cut. After adding your mesh go into Textures and import what you have for that. I hope it helps. I tried importing it onto the default bra but the mesh is not showing up on s4s. Idk what's happening.

Hi all, I recently extracted a top from a full body mesh, but it didn't have 3 separate categories (as used here in the S4S tutorial) so I'm just confused on how I can proceed. I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. I've tried importing the mesh into the package but nothing is working. For some reason, it is still adhereing to the older mesh. How can I make this into a top now? It appears it has weights already painted on. I'm at my wit's end. Here's the blend file for reference (google drive).
