I did, I used the Reflections of the past as a clone, since the table already has a mirror. But I want the mirror to be on top and on the four sides. It seems as if one half of the table is transparent when I turn the camera around the table. I tried to mesh it differently as well, but that did not solve the problem It is getting late now, so I will try my hand at this again tomorrow. Thank you for you quick reply....
Just wondering, should the mirror mesh part lie on a solid mesh, like the wood frame? Somehow, by something I do, I lose the mirror's reflective effect.

hi, I am trying to have a coffee table with mirror on all sides. I once succeeded in at least still having the top part act like a mirror. But the sides are off. I have started all over three times now and just cannot get it right. I made very sure that I assign the correct cut numbers to the different parts. Here is my last attempt:

Thanks, thought that would be where my problem lies. Will it be better to use a rug as the clone object?

Hi, I have a ruffle that I want to put under the bed frame. The mesh is perfect. I have cloned it from the base game pile of sport items ( I hope I have the name right). And I have noticed that the footprint line already has zeros in all three lines, as per the tutorial. It still has to be placed with MOO. That is not my problem, when I send the sims to bed they "see" the ruffle and cannot get into the bed. How do I fix this?

The one I have added through the tools menu. It shows up correct in Studio, but it does not show when I check them in game.

I so agree with you, tkangie. I feel a little cheated though..... have you seen the latest trailing on the backyard stuff for the game? It seems as if they are going to introduce their own round table able to sit more than four! At least we here can say we figured it out first, and can feel proud of it too! It is a wonderful forum. I always get help here, even when only reading through problems other members have experienced!

Hi, I have created a sofa and thereafter used the selective clone and method described here, to make the loveseat and the chair. I have updated the footprint of both the loveseat and the chair, but when I tested it in game, the sims used the living cahir as a loveseat. How do I change that?

With a lot of help from Mr S here and trial and error I got my table done. You can see it hereI would not be able to it without his help and studying the table by another great creator whose work can be found at Mod the Sims HereThe table works 100%!
