Wow, it is a lot, haha! I'll send you a PM and we can chat there from now on instead. BTW, I have NO idea how to port custom animations to The Sims 4...it's quite complicated and so far the only animated CC we have is Andrew's clock, so I don't think the animated ceiling fan and washing machine will be a possibility. But they can work as decor

Hey there Okay, sounds good! You can send me a zip or .rar to the files in a private message, if you'd like! I'd say if you have experience making meshes you'll probably pick up Blender fast- it's pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of it! I think I know what you mean by straighter, and it's just a matter of rotating the mesh a bit. You can do that by selecting all- Press A- then G to move the mesh, then R to rotate. Then you can select which axis you want to rotate along to straighten it out. Can't tell much from the picture, but maybe along X or Y. After hitting R, then hit X (or Y) and you can either use the mouse or arrow keys to slowly rotate it until it's straight (the arrow keys are better than the mouse if you need to do small, single rotations). Anyway, yeah, I'm definitely open to collaborating on it :D

Hey there! As someone who's done a bit of converting from video games to the Sims 4, I thought I'd address a few things that you might not realize since you're new to converting: 1) You need to make sure the file types are ones that are compatible with Blender and The Sims 4. It's not really as easy as plopping in one sort of object and it working. There are lots of different file types and some might not be compatible. The easiest objects to work with are .obj files but .dae files can also be converted. If the files come in other formats, they may or may not work with Blender, thus making the whole process even more complicated. 2) You need to be careful when converting from video games to The Sims 4. Sometimes the files are quite large and have a high number of polys/verts in comparison to Sims 4 items. You can decimate the video game mesh a bit and remove double vertices, but you might end up with a really high poly object which isn't really ideal for TS4. So when you first import these video game meshes into blender, you need to take note of the counts and see if they can be brought down to a reasonable number (if they aren't already low poly. From the look of the screenshots, they could be, but I thought I'd mention it just in case). 3) This one is just my personal opinion, but I don't think all these objects would really be suitable in TS4. Some of them look very 2-D and flat, especially the beds. I think the couches and tables might look nice, but some of the objects, I think, would just stick out like a sore thumb in comparison to the rest of the game and even other CC objects. But that's just my personal opinion Also, AFIAK, you can't really convert furniture objects like beds and still use TS4 animations (like Sims getting in and out of bed). Or if you can, it's just way above my skill level, and probably really complicated. You could convert the bed frame (if you're able to separate it) and use that, but that's another process...not a hard one, but one I won't go into detail about at the moment. ALL that being said, I would be willing to help you convert some of the items! I think it could be a cute little set, but it depends on the above things (if the file types are easy to work with in Blender, if the meshes are good quality and not too high poly, etc.)

Hi brittpinkiesims, auto-import is a little difficult to add given the great variety in items people would be applying this feature to work with. We can look into some way of accomplishing it but this won't be something we can easily add. Ah, thanks for explaining that, OM. I have no idea how the technical side of things work...heck, I'm still in awe of the fact that you guys were able to make this program to begin with, haha. Thanks for the reply! Maybe it's something you'll be able to work in the future, if possible

I'd really love this as well! I would like to convert the graduation robe from TS2 to TS4 but have no idea where to start!

I think you may have already addressed this, but if it's at all possible, I'd love a batch import for swatches! It can be tedious if you're doing a project with 80+ swatches (as I am at the moment), to import them one by one, plus the program seems to slow down with each swatch I add after a certain point.
Thanks for such a great program <3

Basically as it says I want to create a guy character hat is stuck in the 80s/90s and only wears and collects stuff from that era so anything you can find or have found or get inspired to create like this would be super awesome 80s Genetics- Jewelry, Hair, and Makeup - www.modthesims.info/d/154568That link is for The Sims 2 :(

Welcome brittpinkiesims! Creating is so much fun, isn't it? Blender seems intimidating at first but once I went through some of the tutorials here I really enjoyed it. Thank you! And yes Blender isn't as bad as it seems, thankfully. Still, my skills are very limited. brittpinkiesims Welcome here on Studio Forums! And thanks for the shout out, I'm glad I could help you starting to mod for The Sims 4. My first attempts on everything also took multiple hours, but if you eventually know the trick, you're able to make recolors in just a few minutes... Don't know if that's a good thing though..it's a bit addictive.. Is there somewhere we can see your starbucks stickers? Or are they already on the forum? (Maybe I've even seen them already..) Annyway, have nice time on the forum! Thanks Bakie! Haha, yeah, now it only takes me a few seconds to do stickers, they're the easiest thing! Can't believe it took me ages to figure out my first one The Starbucks set was released back in November on my Simblr, but I'm slowly moving all my stuff over to my studio. So it's on there now, and you can check it out if you want brittpinkiesims Welcome and WOW a whole starbucks set.. good for you! Yes Bakie's Videos are great! Oh and Good luck on the children Thank you! Yes, I've done the Starbucks set and a lot more since first learning- maybe about 20 CC sets at this point? More or less... I'm slowly moving them all to the Studio too, right now everything is on my Simblr. Hehe, and thank you
