I dont see where you use a 2-D editor in this process...is there a specific program I need? Just trying to get as much info before I venture into creating my first cc. Thanks!

MCCommand and Wicked Whims have updated. Still getting exception errors the minute I add EVM in game. Notifications like crazy. If I remove the mod, no issues. So I guess I'll just have to keep it out of game. The notifications are annoying and it fills up my notifications que. Thanks for the mod though it was a blast using it in game. Just to give everyone an update: I've been playing my game without Extreme Violence Mod for two weeks, no exception errors. I have MCC and WW, UI cheats, Basemental Drug Mod, Several Work from home mods, MCC notifications are on. No exception errors. I added EVM, started game, the minute game play starts, Exception/script error notifications kept popping up. I shut the game down and removed EVM, I looked in my folder....there were 10 exception error files all dated the same. No exceptions prior to that date in that folder....

Hi jes2g, once you've merged the packages in your Mods folder, you should remove the unmerged versions of the packages from the Mods folder. The whole point of merging them is to not have all those separate files in there anymore. As tigersimi53 said, after merging your .packages, it's a good idea to remove the unmerged versions of those packages to a save folder that is not inside your Mods folder. Retaining these packages will allow you to do things like remove a package and remerge the others in the case that you decide you no longer want one of the packages that you merged. Studio will update at some point with a version that allows the removal of a package from a merged .package, but it cannot do that yet. Right now, if you want to remove something from a merged .package you have to go back to the original group of .packages you merged, remove the one you don't want, and remerge the others. Ahhh this is a good idea. Wish I'd thought about it sooner. But for the next time I will keep a separate folder on my external hard drive. Thanks for the tool it is so handy!

Oh sorry now I see this big space to reply Oopsegwarhammer I'm new here and could not find the reply button so forgive me for quoting the post. I have a problem not with MCC but wicked whims I continue to get an error code such as the one mentioned in the post. I noticed that most of the animations had been updated but not some of the others, I've tried mentioning something about this to the creator with no respond. Have you heard anyone else having an issue with Wicked Whims? Should I just take it out? I really love this Mod so hopefully I can get some clues as to what I should do. Thank you and I loved that you informed us not to shut the error messages down because I may have done that and on the other hand it is in how we say something and so nice of you to make that point thank you again Read more: sims4studio.com/thread/9085/update-extreme-violence-mod?page=2#ixzz4lWqadrfNWhen I installed the updated WW mod I only installed two of the interactions Anarcis and Amra72...Many of the interactions were not updated and I believe were causing the exception errors. Since I removed the Extreme Violence mod, I haven't had any exception errors. I have MCC and WW among a few other mods, which have all be updated to the latest patch.

I'm new to S4S, so pardon my ignorance. When you merge files, I'm assuming you will have to manually remove the original files from the mods folder in order to prevent conflicts or duplicates? Or, is there some sort of dependency and the originals need to stay in the same location? After I merged my packages I manually deleted the others in the folder....but first I moved them to a folder on my desktop, tested the new package files in game. If there were no issues, I deleted the folder.

Once you've merged your package files, how do you add a file. Say I merged all my clothing package files and I download a few more packages...how do I add them to the merged files (or can I) Thanks. This was very useful for organizing my files.

Not sure if this is the correct thread. How can I add new package files after I've merged my files with Sims4Studio? Thanks.

100% correct. I didn't disable my notifications because it's a very useful tool in helping me manage my mods and cc. And you are spot on I went through the painstaking task of removing all mods and testing them in game one by one and the only time I had problems was when I added EVM. I took it out of my game since it seems there won't be an update in the near future and I haven't had an exception error since. I understand that some mod creators don't really get paid for the contribution that they make toward the improvement of the game..so I can't be mad. When he has the time he'll get around to it. For now my psychopaths will have to play nice.

No Problems here with your EXTREME VIOLENCE MOD, still works fine with Whicked Whims. Sounds like an MC Command Center prob. - never tried that Mod, it Updates a lot. You seem to be in the minority.... Are your interactions still working. My sims can kill but the knives and guns are not showing in game like they once were a very long time ago before the update :-)

How do I include the exception file that is being created in game? I would like to send it to you so that you can see and narrow it down whether it's EVM or not. I've tested various combinations of my mods and the only time I get an exception error is when I add EVM to the mix. Just thought it might help if you can see what's happening in game when running the mod.

Hello, thanks for using My mod & glad to hear that You're enjoying it. I have tested the mod after the latest update and everything worked the way it should for Me and none of the interactions glitched, however when I installed MC Command Center It kept generating a last exception file like You've mentioned. I recommend turning off notifications for last exception files in MC Command Center so You don't get bothered every time You choose an interaction. I will look into the problem and see what's generating in the last exception file and hopefully will be able to fix and update it soon. Thanks for Your feedback Hi! It wasn't just the exception messages, the interactions weren't working. Like for example, you would kill someone and they wouldn't die...I'll turn off notifications and test in game again...but the interactions themselves were glitching.. Thanks.
