That really sucks flertzia, I've had some issues with the game, but luckily none that make it unplayable. I have noticed an huge increase in lag and decrease in frame rate. This isn't entirely unusual for me, as my computer at the moment is mid-range, so it is expected sometimes but I have had to lower my settings even more to try and make game-play a little better. At one point, the welcome wagon refused to leave my house after the event had finished and my neighbours started cooking grilled cheese and it was all a bit weird.
As mentioned before they did an incredible job with the cats and dogs, they're super adorable and very entertaining but I do think there should have been more items for the pets. I've already seen the Sims 3 pet object conversions to the Sims 4.
I've also just bought the vet clinic in my current game, which I have mixed feelings about at the moment. Because you have to buy the lot and run it in the same way you would with a restaurant, I just know I'll end up with Sims that just won't do any work and will prioritise getting coffee or something lol.

Okay so I've been playing the new expansion for a few hours now and so far I do like it! I do think they did a pretty good job overall with the pets themselves, there seems to be plenty of breeds and customisation options in CAS which is never a bad thing, I did find myself spending more time than usual in CAS going through all the stuff and I'm pretty pleased with what they've included. I was however expecting a whole lot more stuff for the pets themselves, I just felt like one or two options for pet beds, bowls and toys weren't really enough? It makes me look forward to all the pet CC that will be released.

Just out of curiosity as I forgot to ask lol, is there a fix for this?
I've noticed that with a lot of the CC bottoms I have, they all do the same thing.

I try to avoid adfly, unless there's custom content I really want. Luckily, I've never had any problems with it and I just pause my adblock briefly.
I appreciate creators that include both an adfly + non adfly link to their content, at least you're given the option that way. I would never use it on any stuff I make because I don't think it's right to potentially jeopardise another persons computer privacy or security for the sake of a small profit. The ads themselves look dodgy and the pages it redirects you to are questionable.

Hello! I'm Molly, I've been here for a little while, but I thought I'd say hi. I started playing the Sims when the first game was released and my mum bought it for our family PC, and I haven't really stopped playing since. I've recently got into doing recolours for the Sims 4 and I can't get enough of CC. I'm originally from Cornwall, but moved up North when I was young. I also heard you guys like pets? At the moment, I have 1 dog, a hamster and an aquarium. Here's a picture of Stella, the first at 10 weeks, the second, 7 years on. :D

You make a really good point about the fur paints for the cats and dogs. I don't mind the outfits at all, I love how adorable they are and there will no doubt be plenty of dogs in their hot dog suits going about their business lol. Painting/dying fur though is not my style, I wouldn't do that to my own dog, never mind a virtual one. I'm so confused with EA's focus on things, they prioritised a colour wheel and freehand painting system so you can make a cat multi-coloured even though they knew everyone wanted that kind of customisation for the rest of the game. I don't think I'll ever be over this *sigh*

In the Trailer it does say you can become a vet and run a clinic, so I assume this must be a new interactive career.

In comparison to previous Sims games, the packs for the Sims 4 are lacklustre. I think they made a huge mistake by introducing their Game Packs. I understand they're supposed to be a hybrid of an expansion and a stuff pack, but I don't recall anyone having issues with buying either an expansion or a stuff pack in the past for their previous games.
I agree, EA set the bar considerably high, especially with the Sims 3 and a lot of people were expecting the same thing with the Sims 4. I think to a lot of people (myself included), the packs are only worth buying if there is a sale on. Most Simmers just don't want to pay full price for mediocrity. There have been some packs I have thoroughly enjoyed, City Living and Vampires are my favourites and I felt they had a great amount of CAS, B&B and game play content, so it begs the question as to why there so many inconsistencies between packs.
With the Cats & Dogs expansion, I am excited to see there is a new world, and of course new interactions for Sims and their pets. I also thought it was a great idea to include a veterinary career option too, but I also get the impression that this is the kind of pack that I'm gonna play for a couple hours, then never go back to it again.
Since we're getting one expansion per year now, EA will no doubt try to make up for the lack of expansions with their game and stuff packs. I don't mind either of those, but they need to change their approach and give Simmers something they have asked to see in their game. I liked the project they recently put forward where the community got to vote on the pack, which I think is awesome for the Sims community and they should do more of that.

So with the announcement of the Sims 4 Cats & Dogs expansion pack, I noticed in the trailer there was a Create a Style/Colour Wheel tool for creating the pets. I was really hoping this would be available to use on our Sims and in Build & Buy mode, but apparently not as confirmed by SimGuruLyndsay's Twitter post. Understandably, I imagine implementing a feature like this with the amount of packs and custom content that's already out there would prove to be difficult. I can only dream lol. Oh well, the expansion pack does look good though! What does everyone think?

Thanks for letting me know, with the issue being around the ankles I just assumed it was something I did wrong, I never thought about the dress. The insight is much appreciated!

I edited the original post and checked the links, they should all be working now.
As for the package file, I only used the Sims 4 Studio for the recolours. I followed basic tutorials around the web or on YouTube, none of them included Blender.

I made a basic recolour of a base game pair of shoes, I tested them in CAS and they're fine, then I tested them in game and this happened ↓ ImageIt mainly shows up when my Sim is walking or when the camera is at certain angles. I'm new to CC so I don't know what I did wrong, I also couldn't find anything related to this anywhere else. Any suggestions? Here's the package file: Dropbox
