This is the best surprise EVER! I have spent so much time copying and pasting hex values, and I use the same colors all of the time!
You guys seriously blow my mind - every time I stop and think about all you do every day, and that this is a HOBBY for you talented people, I'm truly impressed all over again.

Are the starboard walls CC? I thought it was base game but i dont see it in studio. I haven't cleaned out my cc walls and floors folder . . . ever. I've been avoiding it because it's the oldest folder and full of terribly named CC that I didn't bother to fix when the game first came out, so I looked through it and I don't see it there, either, but I could have missed it.

Yes! This would be so great! I looked at all of the dress meshes last night, and the ones that look best for a wide range of recolors all have some random detail like this that gets in the way. One has a bow and the pleat in the front, this one and the drop waist ones both have bows, another has both a sash and a bow, and then one with the pockets. In lots of cases that's great, but it would be nice to have something without those details!

I intended to do this myself because I have lots of recolor ideas. I'm new to object meshing and really enjoying it, but when I opened the clothing meshes and started playing around with them I decided it's not for me right now. Maybe down the line!
I would like to have versions of the two girl's dresses with bows - without the bows. In my mind I thought it would be pretty easy because I could delete the bow and basically copy and paste the vertices from the other side of the mesh somehow, but if you know how to mesh you probably know that didn't work out so well for me.
Also, as far as brand new meshes, I'd really love an a-line dress mesh for girls. I don't do a lot of CAS recolors but kids are the exception, because there is so little for kids in the game!
Anyone interested? I'm posting from my phone now but later I can jump on and add pictures of the items if needed.

Thank YOU! Every time I post something it feels a tiny bit ridiculous because everything I make is pretty simple, and there are so many way more awesome creations out there. My cc folder is packed! But everyone shares their stuff with me, so I feel like I can at least post the stuff I use the most in return and maybe someone else will have a use for it, too Really, though, I just love being able to make whatever I want. Every time I think about it, I'm blown away by everyone working on S4S and all of the time they commit. To a tool that is completely free, and is incredibly well made and stable. And how FAST they are! Every time I get back on here there is a new post where someone helped fix something or a new tutorial or a new download or a new update to the tool!

Thanks to the forum here, I was able to finish a couple of projects that were half finished for ages. I know most of us already have enough painting and rug recolors to last ten more years of sims, thanks to how easy it is with studio, but I just can't stop making them! evae1izabeth.tumblr.com/

Thank you for posting this! It's so simple and awesome and now I can't believe I wasted half a day resizing a painting in a really complicated, ridiculous way that somehow screwed up the UV map! Looking forward to fixing that tomorrow . . .

I made a painting recolor a while ago and tried to resize it using warehouse and it didn't work. I resized it in blender but it turns out I'm terrible at mapping and I could never get it to import into studio. I'd like to use this method to resize without having to remap the object, because it is complete including textures, and just needs to be resized. But you mentioned if you include the textures you won't be able to edit them. I want to use the same frame in the texture for other recolors, so does that mean that I wont be able to import and export new textures to it? If I resize an object using this method and then throw it in my mods folder to create recolors from, will those new objects have problems importing and exporting textures?

Thank you, OM, for adding the square rugs to S4S. I debated whether or not to share these, especially when putting together the screenshots took almost as long as making them. but in the end I decided I was halfway there so I might as well, just to say thanks for all you guys do! Even if no one else has any use for them, will all of the amazing creations S4S is churning out, I have exactly what I want in my game, and that customization is what it's all about. evae1izabeth.tumblr.com/This one turned out to be my favorite - my daughter and I wanted something for a "Barbie" GTW clothing store in her game.

Applause over here! I don't know how you do it, but you think of everything!
I'm so inexperienced, my opinion doesn't mean much, and is based only on the images I tend to use since I know so little about meshing and mapping! For me, since the 5x3 has a different aspect ratio than the 4x3, I generally have a different set of images that I use as resources - at least as far as non-tiling images - and it's a smaller set. Oddly enough, my folder of images for 4x2 rugs is about 80% full of images around 700x1000 so I'm always reducing anyway, but the my folder of images for 5x3 is mostly images 600x600.

I kept meaning to make a square and 5x3 rug template without any repeat pattern tiling - I have of a huge file of images I've been saving to use - but my project list keeps getting longer and longer. I'm sure someone has already done this, but I'd rather not download and open every rug I can find Does anyone know where I might be able to find these?

This is the best thing that ever happened to Sim Sleep!
Do you happen to know if anyone has uploaded the original separated mattresses from these bed frames anywhere? I thought I had them in my game, and I went to mix and match and use one of the EA ones on one of these great frames and I couldn't find it. I don't know if I'm remembering wrong or if one of the recolors I have is maybe an override or something.
