I have just created a new top in Photoshop (not using a 3d programme) and there is no existing bump map. Is there a tutorial on how to make one from scratch? Thankyou

'yikes never going to retexture something from her again. Look at that round circle. It looks like that strand is coming from nowhere. Atleast make it look good.' That was a very unnecessary thing to say! The hair looks fabulous either way! No need to be so rude.

Can you upload your package so I can have a look at the texture?

Thankyou Feyona, MisterS and orangemittens! One thing you should know is that i am not going to stop using blender as i completely understand that it will take time (and a lot of fiddling) to improve my knowledge. I think i just wanted something for the short term that may have been a little easier. I only mod Sims 4 and 1 other game at the minute don't have much money (i lost my job:( ) to buy other programmes. It's not that i think blender is bad or anything, i just find this programme particularly hard but that will not deter me! :D At the minute, i usually do makeup items, eyes and tattoos (things that don't require 3d modelling) and some clothes that can be made in Photoshop simply as a texture. I upload them to TSR as taraab and have started to upload them to MTS. I did actually try the earring but it didn't turn out right but am going to try it again sometime in the near future! Is the earring, like, pretty much the easiest thing to start with? I was completely new to Photoshop but have managed to learn and understand that, so why not Blender, right? :D Thankyou again!

I have been trying to learn Blender for about half a year and i just can't get used to it. At first i was fine creating makeup for the sims 4 but i see lots of beautiful creations that i can't create. Is there any other programmes out there where you can create meshes? I also haven't come across that many tutorials that i can watch and understand (it's not that they aren't good, i just don't understand them). Any help here would be appreciated. Thankyou

Hi there! I have recently tried to change a simple dress to a top and skirt but have come across a problem. I followed a tutorial and thought i'd done it right but i have messed something up :/ I should probably explain that this is my first attempt at editing a mesh other than fiddling around and experimenting so i am not that great at blender. Anyway, all i did was delete a couple of faces to create the top and skirt, inserted the nude top etc. But when i go to edit the texture and take the part away that overlaps the skin, it also takes part of the skirt away. I'll upload a picture to help explain as i honestly have no idea what has happened. Maybe it has something to do with the uv mapping? Thankyou!
