All credit must be given to the creators, kookizz & Lerner in this case. They're violating the license if they're just mentioning the site. What they're doing is not that different from saying you got a pattern from Google. (At least in my point of view.) What I probably could do is link to the patterns I used in the credits. That sounds fine, to me atleast. And you're right, it isn't much different from saying you got it from google.

I think you can do that. It should be all good if you give credits Good luck! Thanks for the reply! I do see people using colourlovers' patterns and saying they're from there, and that's it.. So maybe it's all good. I wouldn't be using Ad.fly or anything that could give me money.. So it's non-commercial use. Well.. This is what's on most of the patterns, but they differ.. Like sometimes Commercial use is not allowed. So would I have to credit kookizz and Lerner if I used their pattern in my recolor? I usually don't see people (when they use patterns from colourlovers.com) credit the PERSON, but they credit the site. Maybe they made their own patterns there, because they have a nice pattern tool? Kinda confusing. Does orangemittens know anything about this, or can help?

I could use patterns from ColourLovers.com? I mean, obviously I'd credit them, I'm not a thief, well, not on purpose. But that's why I'm asking this, so I'm not a thief unpurposefully.. (Is unpurposefully a word? No? Yes? Purpose is a weird word.. Right?)
So if I recolor a rug and use patterns from ColourLovers.com, and I say in the 'Credits' section of the download post, "Patterns are from ColourLovers.com", is that all good? Can I do that?
I'm kinda a noob at this type of thing, but it's better to be safe than sorry, right? Sorry if this is a super stupid question :p

Open up the photo again in paint.net, and click on 'File' (in the top left) then click 'Save As', then choose DirectDraw Surface, then click save. Now make sure "Generate MipMaps" is checked and it's set as DXT5. I hope I explained everything correctly ^_^

I'm sure, when I was little, I probably did. Guilty!
Have you ever broken something out of anger?

Hey everyone! I'm new here. My name is Atraile. I'm from the south and love to play and own All the Sims game I can! I'll be going off to college soon if I can. I want to do game design and create the most awesome games you'll ever see and play! Right now I'm in the middle of creating a Sims 4 movie called Hanna or at least that's what I wanna call it. Looking forward to collaboration with another Simmy and hopefully this movie will turn out great! Have a passion for art and haven't made an CC with the Sims since Sims 2, so hopefully I can un-rust my CC skills and hit it off bigger and better. (Btw, I'm a girl. Don't let the name fool you like it has done others lol) ( ) Atraile.. I've never heard that name before! It's lovely! I hope you don't mind if I steal it for my sim's kids... Just kidding. Anyways, welcome! I'm excited to see what type of CC you can whip up for us.

A dry one. With a bit of a texture and a hair or two on top. So I guess basically a cashew that fell on the floor into that one corner of the room where all the dirt gathers. Yeah.. I suppose so. I hate it when I drop food. Especially if it's something tiny.

panuts I'm under 5'5" as well but I'm more like a cashew when I'm sitting at my computer. #postureproblems ;P A cashew? A salted cashew or a regular one? These are some serious questions.

to late J Mzungu, you're just a rich white person now! plovernod, I think it's important to stick with your name if people in The Sims Community already know you, because of that name. And you like Galaxies? Perhaps waiting for the game No Man's Sky too? No Man's Sky- I'm guessing it's that super cool looking game that was at E3? It looks actually awesome. Like, genuinely awesome. In an awesome way.
