This might be a long shot, but I'm looking for a list or overview from all the shaders used in game. For example most objects use the default 'Phong' but that one always looks a bit yellow. I discovered 'Cabinet' look more fresh and white with the same texture. But there is a whole list of shaders to choose from and I have no idea how they would look in game. So is there by any chance a complete list of all the shaders? Preferably with an example image and a short description how they act in game etc?

So glad you managed to solve it. Sorry I didn't come back sooner to see your question about changing shaders. That's ok, I knew where to look. I just didn't know if I could just change the shader from the dropdown options or if I had to change more. Appareantly just the dropdown works fine. Thanks!

The problem was indeed the material! Some meshes were 'Phong' and others were 'Cabinet'. I changed all the furniture - and all the LODs stages - to 'Cabinet' (just personal preference, cabinet seems cool, phong has a more warm look, plus I want them to somewhat match the HD furniture which are also 'Cabinet'). I left the matresses (separated from bedframe) to 'Phong', those doesn't have to match because it's a different material anyway

You could check to see if the objects are all using the same shader as each other as well because they can make changes to how colours display. Could you elaborate how to change the shading? I have seen the shading options in S4S but I don't know what and how to change it. It seems to be the effect of dynamic lighting. You could see this on the sectional sofas until maxis changed their shader to counters. Pic by TudTuds. That's all I can say without seeing your packages. I tried moving the furniture around, but it did not change the colors.

Currently making a kids bedroom set. All the models have a plain white base texture with shading and highlights, no colors added yet. All the textures look the exactly the same, they all have the exact same hue/brightness of white, however in game the meshes all have a different hue, like something else adds color. They all should be the exact same white. So my question is: Is there something in blender or S4S what adds color to a mesh? Like a light or ambient color which can be changed? I don't make my models in blender, I make them in 3DSM and then import them to Blender.

Ohhhh this is amazing! I'm gonna try it out, thank you! <3 So it's limited to 1 slot, correct? I can't make for example an empty clothingrack and add 4 slots to hang coats? :D

Some Wall tiles were missing a matching floor tile.. Well, not anymore! I took the wall textures an put them on the floor, problem solved 😄
The floor names match the wall names, I also copied specials like enviroment score if it was on the wall.
Base game edition.

I don't think there is one, but it was worth a try ) Would have been perfect for stuff like peg boards and hooks and stuff. :

I guess I'm losing my mind :D I can't place the caddy inside the shower anymore, I used to do this all the time with the cheapest base gamne shower 'Post Modern Shower Stall' without any cheats, but as of now when I'm testing it I'm not getting it to work o_O

Is there a way to add wall deco slots to any object? I know there is a base game shower where you can add a soap rack inside, and now there are also 2 wall deco slots on the CL animal barn where you can hang a pitchfork. (see image example) So is there a generic slot who will accept all kind of wall decor?

This project took much longer than I anticipated 💀 But it's finished! 12 new clutter items, each of them have 20 swatches so go crazy!
Just like the previous plant set these items were all in the game already, just not as standalone objects, they were stuck in bookcases, shelves, bars, etc. I detached the sculptures, cleaned them up, and game them some extra swatches. Except for the giraffe, he was missing a head so he needed some extra love 😅
They can be found under decoration: clutter and sculptures.
You can download each indivudual sculpture if you only want a few, if you want all 12 you can download the 'MERGED' file instead,
it will be slightly faster for your game to load than all 12 files individually 😊 #Buy #Decorations #Clutter #Set #Sculpture

The rack has some added shelves, deco slots and swatches and can hold any kind of clothing. The clothes are pushed a bit closer together and added an extra shirt to make it fuller.
The clothes will have the functional dresser option, the rack is more of just a display. Both items will show up in the dresser category (Somehow HD's own modular dressers won't show up in this category, which is kinda weird?).
Requires DLC: Home Decorator!
Is this something you would like to see more of? There are some more suitable objects like a Star Wars wired shelving unit, a Get Famous clothing rack and an artist painting storage which would be fun to convert. So let me know if that's something you'd interested in! 🥰
