Thank you for all the info. Don't know what it will look like, but I found snow in Sims 3 too heavy and somewhat unnatural, especially the ice hanging from the roofing...

Hi, I have to confess that, being deeply addicted to building and decorating, I don't exactly play with simmies, but I looked forward to getting my hands on "Seasons" because I can't wait to see snow-covered houses. Besides I am a winter lover in real life, and of course in Simland as well... And in sims houses..!

Hourrah!!! We'll get Seasons ( in French it will be "Saisons"). I just got a message from EA, it was a huge surprise. But I am not sure about the release date. Some people say that it will be in september, other that it will be released on june 22th. Besides we'll get "Create A Style" back.

Hi, long years ago I faced an (apparently) similar issue in Sims 3. Finally (after days and months) I discovered that the issue was caused by a harddrive failure. When the game was not running, everything was fine, but when I launched the game I could play ten minutes , then I got weird things like yours and finally the game crashed. Your thread reminds me of this problem and I decided to share my experience with you, just in case... But there are many possible causes for your issue. Something in your game: Corrupted cc or conflicting mods... or a hardware issue... I know that such a glitch is very annoying and frustrating and I hope that you'll soon solve your issue and enjoy your game. Good luck!

Thank you, Inabadromance. You give me some hope back, even if everything remains unsure with EA's future decisions. In my best days ( ) I keep dreaming from a final stuff pack releasing all things that we used to love and that were removed from Sims 4.
Edit: Thank you AdonisPluto. As I posted this message I didn't yet see your reply.

Hello! In Sims 2 and 3 I was in love with snow and rain and now I wonder if Electronic Arts will release a "Seasons" pack. Sims 4 was released 4 years ago and I see no seasons coming, I begin to lose hope. Are you as pessimistic as me?
And functional spiral stairs???
Thank you in advance for sharing what you think.

Themama, glad that everything is working for you. Like you, I don't understand why updating sometimes delete files from the "Mods", but since I know that it may happen, I am careful and remove all cc from the game before updating. After the update it is safe to put your cc back into your "Mods"... Nothing bad will happen, nothing will be deleted....except with the next patch, but now you know what to do to prevent this issue... Wish you a lot of fun and a wonderful weekend.

Hi Themama. You had bad luck. Hopefully you'll get your house back. Did you back up your cc somewhere on your harddrive? Just an important thing.... For the next update: Before updating the game, make a back up of your "Mods" folder. I personally move "Mods", "Tray" and "Saves" to the desktop before updating.... After the update is done I launch the game once without any CC. If everything is fine, I put my cc back into the game. Even if there are some issues with broken cc (most of the time fixable with the "Batch fix" of Sims 4 Studio), I am at least sure that the cc is not removed from the game folder. Good luck! First: :'( then

My antivirus software Panda caused issues as well, the same issues as yours. Without asking for permission it took the S4S installer from the desktop and put it into the quarantine folder. Finally I investigated the program, found the installer in the quarantine and restored it... AND: All issues stopped. I can now download the installer and have S4S installed without any problem. No need ( in my case)to deactivate the software. It stopped fighting with my beloved S4S.

I hope there will be "Seasons", it is my favorite EP in all versions of the game.
