hi! Have you both tried loading the game in vanilla? meaning, no mods at all? If the issue is gone, then it's cc related. If not, try right clicking the game in origin to repair it. Remember to always have back up of your mods/saves/tray folders. Thanks for answering. It's definitely cc realted in my case. After searching yesterday, I decided to try opening the game in vanilla and everything was fine. So I started taking out the folders one by one. I always leave the 50/50 method as the last resource cause I have a gazillion mods and I'm lazy. The culprit was in the first folder I took out (lucky for me). It was a mod named "Expanded physique range". I'm naming my problem just in case it can help someone else.

Hello, just a quick question, could you solve it? Cause it's happening in my game now, so before starting the 50/50 method I thought I'd ask to see if I can just go straight to the root of the problem. Thanks!

Hi again,
Yes, as anska stated before, it must be done for every object catalog entry, as there is one for every swatch of the object. Hope it works for you too!

Thanks a lot anska, it works like a charm!!! Great thing I don't need to erase all my CC TVs!! :D
franculo, I'll try to explain it as detailed as I can: - Open the package you need to update through "My projects and searching the folder where you have it stored. - You'll see a window that shows how the object looks in a blue screen and above it there are two tabs. Click the one that says warehouse. - You are going to see the window divided in two, one with a list of names and numbers on the left and another on the right. - On the left search for "Object Catalog" and click on it. This will open its characteristics on the right. - SO now, search for "Tags" on the right panel. You'll see a button next to it that says "Edit Items...". Click on it. - A new window will show up with four blue buttons on the left, at the bottom. Click "Add". - A new tag entry will show up, so just write the number anska said before (55368) next to "Tag Value". - If the tag above changes to show "Func_VideoGameConsoleDisplay", you've done it right. Save in this window, save in the objects main window and it's done! Hope it helps!

Hi!
I was wondering if there is a way or a fix that updates CC TVs to be able to pair up with the game console that came with City Living, cause only official ones can be used with it, the CC ones give an error as if they were already being used.
Thanks a lot!

You guys were right. It was due to my game not being updated. I just updated it and when I opened the game the sim was not bald anymore. I still see that gap in the right side I mentioned in the previous message about your picture orangemittens and also many, many flaws. So I guess I'll try redoing it now that it shows in my game. Cheers!

Thanks a lot to both for taking the time to check it! Just like you, I haven't had the time to update it (life keeps, getting in the way of my playing time...). I'd like to update it this weekend, when I'll have more free time, but we'll see.
Anyway, tbh I wasn't aware of creating the package over someone else's CC. I had a base game hair cloned in the folder, but I guess that at the moment of exporting the mesh I screwed up... Thanks for telling me! Should I take down the package I've uploaded here to be helped? I really feel bad about creating my own on top of another's one :'(
And that gap in the hair in the right side of your picture, could it be due to the flipped normals? Cause it's cloned from that straight woman hair that came with "Get together" and I didn't erase that part of hair. As I said, I just mirrored it but dd nothing with the texture. COuld it be that instead? Sorry for asking so much or if I'm being a bother, and thanks a lot for your time and patience :D

Thanks a lot for the help! Really, thanks for trying. Ok, so the issue is still there.
- I tried starting a new project, reimported the textures and the mesh. Same issue. - I tried redoing the mesh from scratch, exporting all the meshes and textures again to have them fresh and new, cause I noticed that when I opened it in blender the model was female but I was using it for male in S4S, and thought that it could be the problem. Again, no results. - I tried flipping the normals in blender and then the issue with the sim looking bald showed up in S4S as well. - The last thing I've done is reimporting the female mesh, flipping the hair and importing it to a male mesh, but just the base, without frankenmeshing nor adding anything else. And... the bald sim again.
So, the source of the problem is when I mirror the heir in blender. It fails when I flip the normals in blender. It shows right in S4S when I just recalculate them, but it doesn't show right in game. I'm getting quite down...
Also, I do nothing with the textures from the female base hair, I just import them as is, cause I tried mirroring them in photoshop and the result in S4S was terrible. Could that have something to do with it?

Im going to take a look at this, but i think i may know the issue already. hold tight for a minute!
Yea, looks like your normals are flipped, im not sure if there is anything else wrong at this point but im going to flip them and go ingame to test. By the way its a very nice mesh. Oh, maybe cause I mirrored the hair? I recalculated them, but I didn't know I had to flip them too. Thanks! You're so very nice! Fingers crossed

Hi minyare, it looks like there is possibly a combination of issues. If you post the .package someone can take a look and pinpoint the problems. Really?! Wow, hope someone knows what to do. I'm uploading the .package and the .blend just in case it's easier to find the problem. I'm sure I left something undone that I should have done, the bad side of being a newbie to this... Also it has a lot of flaws, but it's the best I could do. If someone wants to tinker around with it, feel free to do it packageblendThanks!

I was able to solve it. I put texture where I shouldn't, where it should be empty. It's what happens when you're new :D

Hello! I'm trying meshing for the first time. In fact, frankenmeshing several parts of various hairs. I finished the mesh in blender, recalculated the normals in edit mode, imported it to the sims 4 studio (v. jackpot) and looked fine, everything was where it was supposed to be, no visible flaws no missing part, nothing. I even checked every colour, just in case, and they all looked fine. So I put the file in my mods folder to test it in game and it looked like this: link (I'm very sorry, I have no account with a hosting provider, so please bear with me). Well, I didn't expect it to go well for my first time, but I got really excited when I saw how good it looked on the Studio and then so dissapointed when I opened the game. Could someone give me a hint about where the problem is? Or maybe give me a hand? Thanks, thanks, thanks a lot in advance!

Hello! I recolored a door and it has problems in game. It looks perfectly fine in the Sims4Studio preview, but in the game a strange reflection shows up when the camera turns, as if the door is partially transparent. I used the mesh from the "When you see it" glass door from Spa Day, so I guess it's due to that. I'd like to solve it, but I don't know how. I could use another door, but I really like the look of this one. Could someone give me a hand? Thanks in advance! Btw, here are the links to the images (I have no account in any image hosting service, sorry): NormalTurn

Hi! Thanks a lot just for reading this I'm creating a sim story and I would love one of them to have a certain hair, but I can't find a similar one. I don't know how to create hairs myself so the only way is through asking. I don't know if one like this already exists, so if it does I'd be grateful if someone pointed me that way. And if it's not, I'd be even more grateful if someone could do it (if you want and have time, of course). Without much ado, here's the hair: drive.google.com/file/d/0B6_eZ_8luMcyMlVJdmJoeXA4blU/viewThanks in advance!! ;D
