I just did a hair recolour of a Cats and Dogs new addition, and it isn't showing up in CAS, Mid Curly, and two from base game Bombshell and Short Bob. All were created using Wishes 3.1.0.4 Edit: They are showing up today. I guess my game needed a good night's rest.

BROKENSims, I've downloaded the package, and I will take a look. Do you have an example or two of the couches that still disappear after running the batch fix? If so, can you PM them to me? General message to anyone still experiencing issues with items after the patch: Please let us know what items are still not working so they can be batch-fixed. When reporting, please provide an example item that has the problem. It's fine to PM that to me rather than posting it in the thread. We need examples of what's not working so these things can be fixed. Issues that will be batch-fixed in the next version of Studio include: CAS garments that are borking on larger Sims, round 6-seat dining tables. We don't need examples of these. Items that have been reported as needing a batch-fix that we still need examples for: toilets, counters, beds and sofas that resist the existing batch-fix, park benches and bathtubs. If you don't have an item like this yourself, please spread the word around so someone who does knows we need an example. orangemittens, None of my couches work, from the game or cc. Also, none of my cc beds work. I've tried using the batch fixes, but no luck. I haven't yet encountered any other problems.

Hello, I've been working on being able to talk to spiders that are in the cobwebs, but I'm stuck with part of the tuning from industrial toilet, which I am using for my tuning base. I have removed just about everything I can think of that might be causing my issue, but no luck. So, my issue is that when trying to converse with the spiders, I get this: "Cannot perform this interaction on object with broken electronics. Repair it first." Only problem is that this is a spider web, and I have no option to repair it. What I would like to do is make it unbreakable, as a workaround. Does anyone know how I can achieve this? Bakie, I'm close. I'm using the Hi Tec toilet tuning, and have removed quite a bit of it, but I can't seem to make the web unbroken. Here's a pic, just FYI. Converse Error In Game
I'm having trouble getting the pic to show so I linked it in the meantime.

So, in my endeavours, adding the "talk to" line does not work with the object_sculpture tuning. I think I need to add an interaction, and I'm not sure how to place that inside the tuning. S4S allows me to extract the super interaction tuning for friendly chitchat from the talking toilet, but when I add it to the original XML file, it tells me this: Unexpected end of file has occurred. The following elements are not closed: I. Line 311, position 5. That is the last line of the file. Can I add that as an extra tuning file, or can there only be one?
I'm starting to wonder if I'm taking this on too late for Halloween, LOL! Even if not, it will still be good for Vampires.

I wonder if you can help me with a tuning mod I'm trying to create. I want to add the social action "talk to" to an inanimate object. I've recoloured cobwebs to become spider webs with multiple spiders. For the positive effect version, I'd like my Sims to be able to talk to the spiders and have it affect the social need. I've been looking for the simplest object to copy tuning from, but I'm having a difficult time finding one. I initially tried to modify the hi tec talking toilet tuning, but it messed up my game. Likely because I need to modify more than the super affordances. I looked for food plants in S4S but I couldn't locate them. What do you think is the best way for me to proceed?

Hi! Here are some simfileshare codes. As for your project, 2 things: - this is a base game clone so it's not necessary to embed external geometry if the mesh is not going to be modified. - The normal map texture isn't correct. I'm not sure why you've done one from scratch.. but i would either re clone the item and export it's base game normal map into yours, or compare that one to yours. The alpha map isn't correct, it should be gray scale with the texture's details. Thank you!!! I'm going to have a look at the normal map. I had to modify the original because I took off the patches that were on the suit. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm trying to recolour the clown outfit so it somewhat goes with the Pennywise facepaint I made. This should have been easy for me, but I can't get rid of the shine. I've tried making the spec blank, I've made it black with a white alpha, and I went into warehouse/lods/assets and changed the spec number to 0 (no one told me to do that, I just thought I'd try it to see if it did anything). Nothing is working. Since I'm getting different shine on different parts of the outfit, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the mesh, which I haven't touched or looked at. I'm not good at meshing, so I generally leave that to others. I'm (hopefully LOL) attatching pics and the .package to see if anyone can help me identify and fix the problem. Thanks! One thing I've found with multicolour roofing, is that you have to build your pattern on a 256x256 file, then place copies of that into each quadrant of a 512x512 file. Otherwise the pattern won't match up when 2 different styles of roof meet.

Hello folks! I have a question about editing the DATA files for randomizing names in game, not CAS. I have twice attempted the tutorial on YT on how to do this, but each time I get stuck with the DATA tool : Data File Tool by velocitygrass (extract with 7zip) modthesims.info/t/531876There is always a Qdll file missing. So, is there a way to edit data files using sims4studio? Any and all help is always appreciated!

I'm having so much trouble with this. I've been trying to create some vampire eyes and they won't show. How can I get more than one eye colour to show in CAS and have them all in the same package? This seems so simple, just like any other recolour, and yet it's just not working for me.

Does anyone know how I can get the recolours to affect the corner cabinets? I've gone into warehouse mode and changed the appropriate DST images, but they still show up red in game.
