This is truly amazing! I have a couple questions (and I hope that they're not miserably obvious--never modded before):
1. How do we make a new craftable? Do we clone one of the existing debug objects?
2. Where do we find the decimal 64 values?
Thank you for your time and incredible collaboration!

Hi again! I finished your Kimono. I'm working on another, really complicated project, so a simple recolor was a really nice break. The lighting on the reference pic makes it a little hard to tell what the true color of the Kimono is, so I made a lighter swatch and a darker swatch. Just use the one you want. DownloadEnjoy!

Hey roguekurosawa12, are you still looking for the Kimono? I can make it for you.

Hi! I was clicking through some of your items and they really reminded me of the things featured in this set, if that helps: Stellar Stuff Fanmade Pack

Hi! I made your hula hoop! It's by no means perfect, but hopefully it will do the trick. ^_^ Also, just one color swatch seemed too boring, so I made you a nice little rainbow, based on some of sjan4prez's Lucky 13 Color Palette. You can download the hula hoop here. Hopefully you find some use for it!

Hi there roguekurosawa12! It might help if you found a Kimono mesh that allows recolors and posted there to help any recolorists who might want to fill this request for you! I tried to search myself but I think it will take a little more digging than I can manage here in China.

Hi MisterS! Thank you for taking a look! I took your advice and unwrapped the UV map again using Smart Unwrap in Blender. The object definitely looks a lot more attractive in game, but the lighting problem persists. How can I tell if I unwrapped it "properly"? The updated package is here. Here is my remapped mesh if anyone wants to look at it.

Haha, I'm all for leaving no stone unturned! Sadly, even with lights all around, it's very dark. Thanks, aby32 for looking at it! I'm stumped!

Thanks for your incredibly fast response! :-) I took your advice but it still goes dark when placed indoors. The loom on the left is the one cloned from a plant. There are some slight rendering differences, but definitely still very dark. So bizarre.

Thank you inabadromance for taking the time to puzzle through my post!
Also, I apologize for not replying sooner. I moved to China shortly after posting and it took me longer than I thought to get my life adjusted enough that I could Sim again!
I tried your suggestions but the problem remains the same. :-/ I think the problem truly lies within how the mesh was constructed. It was a free mesh from a 3-D models site.

I'm making a computer that is cleverly disguised as a loom. The frame of the loom will serve as the desk. However, in testing, I've discovered that the mesh becomes very dark when placed indoors (the loom should be practically the same color as the stool I've placed in front of it). I've tried lightening the texture to compensate, cloning a different base object (both another desk and a sculpture), tried edge-splitting and changing the shading in Blender to "flat." The problem's the same. There's definitely something going on with the mesh. I really wanted to fix this myself but it's apparently waaaay over my head. :/ Here are the mesh and package file if you'd like to look at them. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey everyone! Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! I looked at the mesh and it had seven different UV maps. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. :D

Hi all! I'm working on a new item mesh but I can't get the textures to show up properly in game. The texture image is a properly sized DXT1 .dds and the bump and specular maps have been updated. Even still, the mapping/texture seem to have gone completely wrong. I've spent hours trying to troubleshoot on my own but can't seem to make any sort of progress. Here's my project if you'd like to look at it: Download

CASt is one of the biggest things I miss about TS3 and because of that, I'm a huge proponent of recolors. My collection of original meshes is small at the moment, but growing. Please add me if you don't mind. :D Snowtato
