Hi, I am new to this meshing stuff and I need some help using and understanding blender.
First I need help editing a mesh, i.e. deleting parts, cutting and joining parts to form a new mesh/mesh part, i.e. take a short pendant necklace cut it where the chain meets the pendant and then copy part of the chain and the pendant and join them all together as one new longer pendent necklace mesh.
Also I need help in combining multiple meshes into one new mesh, i.e. make a new dress from parts of multiple dress meshes, just like you would do with a picture cut and paste together, a bit like cutting the arms from one, the body top from another and combining them with the skirt from the third dress and then you have a new outfit mesh.
I hope this makes sense?

Hi, well I have been having a little bit of fun making my own pictures to hang on my walls. The taking and making of the pictures is something I am able to do, but I am having trouble getting all of them to show up in the game.
I am using game screen shots and photo take with the photoboth to use in my pictures and combining them with non-cc frames to help reduce problems with crashing.
But not all show up in game and I am not sure what I am doing wrong or not doing.

Hi Crashdodgers, it would help to know which type of object you would like to modify. For changing a horizontal/landscape picture into a vertical/portrait picture, I remember having seen a tutorial in the tutorial section. Or do you wish to make things that usually stand on the floor lean against the wall - for example a sofa that somebody leaned against the wall to illustrate a moving situation? The most basic answer to your question would probably be: export the mesh, make your modifications in blender, reimport it and make necessary modifications (i.e. modify the footprint, tuning, ...). The primary objects that I am looking to change are the Tool Portal-Probe, as I want to try and merge it with something like a tv or computer so the it gives the effect of a heart beat and there are a number o different things that can be merged with like walls etc. I do have a picture of what it looks like but not to sure how to get it to show in post on here!

Hello, yes as far as I am aware the game is full up to-date. As I believe it is an auto thing, although I am not to sure as I am unable to locate the updater/patch number location. But I do think it is up to-date as I have the genealogy list thing.

And one other thing if I remove the pose player from my game I lose all menus from my sims.
