Spirashun oh! I was not aware of this fact. However, I guess that you can make your own custom columns out of items in the game if you really wanted. This is what someone did with beams that you can add in your house. I mean, it's an option if you really want to try it

Also, I know that you have run your game without mods, but I just wanted to add that the teen pregnancy mod can stop your Sims from doing average daily tasks, like showering.

Hmm, your PC sounds really good, the specs are great, definitely enough for Sims. May I ask what graphics you have selected for your game?
PSA- to make the game run a tad smoother, I recommend switching online services off in Origin for Sims 4.

By texture painting, I mean vertex painting (whoops haha, sorry, I tend to call it that). Anyway, it's just another way to ensure that your creation is as smooth as possible. Here is a tutorial on how to do vertex painting: sims4studio.com/thread/2479/vertex-paint-sims-4-meshHowever, as I am not entirely skilled in making hair, here's another tutorial that might help you more than I can: Sims 4 Hair Components (an overview of what you need to make sure to do when making hair- this talks about LODs, Vertex Painting, etc): sims4studio.com/thread/134/mini-tutorial-sims-hair-components

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure if a column counts as an item. Maybe try going onto 'Walls' under the 'Build' catagory (again, sorry if I am wrong, I do not have access to S4S at the moment as my computer is broken and I'm having to use my Father's as a substitute. Anyway, this is what I'm talking about when I'm saying to go to 'Walls' under the 'Build' button (blue).

Hi! What are you finding difficult about the body template, may I ask? To use it, you simply highlight your mesh and and then press 'G' to move it around. If you are making a top, for example, you move the UV map onto the top half of the body. Your problem may be where you unwrap the UV map (this is not always needed, depending on the complexity of your creation).
Do you mind sharing some screenshots to help explain your problem in more detail?

Hi! AS I do not have the Get Together expansion pack, I cannot look at this for you (also, my computer is broken, fml). However, have you tried to search for the column in the search bar at the top right?

inabadromance ahh, thank you for your input! I guess it makes sense that you do not need a nude top with an accessory. Thank you!

Hey Beauman, So you want to create a texture for new paintings? So, let me see what I understand about this problem from what you have said:
You want to create a texture for a new picture that you made. I am guessing that you need to make a new texture as you have either made your new mesh from scratch or totally edited the shape. I can tell you that you are able to create a new texture for paintings using the UV map. Here are the instructions:
1) Once you have created your mesh, the first thing you want to do to get your full UV map is join all the mesh groups by pressing Ctrl + J once you have highlighted the mesh groups (in this case, all of them) that you want to join. You can always undo this by pressing Ctrl + Z once you have retrieved your UV map.
2) Press A to select the whole thing in the preview tab. You now need to go to the left side of Blender where you can see the UV map.
3) This is the part where I might get things a little wrong as I have not worked with items just yet (I have made many pieces of clothing, so please forgive me if some of my instructions may be a bit hazy at this point- also, I do not have access to Blender at the moment, so I cannot look at references for you :C ). So, you want to have the whole UV map selected (you will know that you have selected it when it's completely orange). Click the 'export' button and save your UV map somewhere safe (I usually save them onto my desktop
4) Now, open paint.net/Photoshop (I will be telling you how to do this via Paint.net as it already has a way you can save DDS files whereas Photoshop needs a plug-in).
5) Open up the UV map that you exported. This should be a template for you to create your new picture frame mesh.
(If you need more help on this topic as I am not very experiences, I will link to the tutorial page in the post below).

Okay, so I have a couple of questions on how you rotate objects in build mode. The first one is something that I learnt before, but I merely forgot and, quite frankly, I decided that it would be easier to put in this post along with my other question than to Google it. Logic :D
Anyway:
1) You know when someone does free rotate? You know, when they can rotate it at any degree? Yeah, how do you do that? I've completely forgotten.
2) I know that you can press Ctl/Cmd + 0 and Ctl/Cmd + 9 to move objects up and down when you have move objects on, but is there a way to move rotate an object on the Y axis? Here's an example of what I mean:
So I have the baby without a crib mod (if you don't know this, it's basically where when you have a baby and instead of having the default crib underneath the baby, the crib is basically invisible and you can place the baby in custom cribs). Anyway, I also downloaded some highchairs that were converted from Sims 2 as I figured it would be good for decoration. However, I wanted to see if there was a way that I could make the baby 'stand up' and then press CTL + 9 to raise it up to the high chair... of course you wouldn't be able to interact with the baby, but it would add so much more to the gameplay if I could have the baby in the high chair while my family is eating dinner.
So in short, is there a way to rotate on the Y axis?

This may not be the problem with you, but my game crashed after 30 minutes or so too. However, this is because I have a very low quality, low tech laptop. Could you possibly tell me what kind of computer you are playing on, (the brand, the RAM, the CORE, hard drive storage, etc) as well as if it is a laptop or a PC?

Obvious question, but do you have laptop mode on? If so, this could be the problem (in this case, there would be nothing wrong with your CC C:)

If the above answer does not work, the most obvious thing is: is the mesh you used your hair from in your game? If it's a CC mesh that you edited, you'll need it in game.

This may seem pretty obvious, but have you checked the texture? If so, have you texture painted the mesh?
