Why this method doesn't need the 2nd UV map?

hi! are you planning to write tutorial about assign mesh to more than one joint? I mean for absolutely beginners... I understood how to assign to just one joint (and my attempts was successful), but now I want more. I really want to learn it, but I even don't know how to start with this :(

orangemittens, thank you, but I checked everything, it was just EA's RLES, so, using your tutorial I removed it

I made earrings, but they have strange spots (looks like EA's spots from old earrings). Should I just use this your tutorial to remove shine it, or I did something wrong?

yes, but, following your tutorial, I regroup created in Blender earrings with EA's earrings, and only after this I get map number one (step: Part III: Unwrapping the Mesh & Mapping UV). But when I make the same steps for my bracelet (which has its map already, created in 3d Max) i get TWO maps after regroup. And when I continue to follow tutorial, i get THREE maps after all :( I also can't understand how to be with EA's watch. In your tutorial I still have a part of EA's mesh (if I create earrings), because I really need this part for them, but for bracelet I don't need EA's mesh at all! should I delete it? But what about maps? I'll loose EA's map?

ok, I understand my mesh has to have also 2 uv maps, like EA's mesh. and everything is ok, if I create a mesh from scratch in Blender and here I make uv map for it. But how to be, if I imported to EA's mesh my own, with ready map? so following this tutorial i get THREE maps! :( my own, and two EA's...
