I hope the headline wasn't too vague. I was playing the game and decorating a child's room when I noticed that the three following table lamps wouldn't fit on an end table.
The Happy Panda Table Lamp Kid's Soccer Ball Light BlastOff! Lighting
They would, however, place on the floor. I am wondering if I need to change the footprint or something? I am a beginner and I am not sure where to start having only previously worked with clothing and hair recolors.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi tatygirl90, there are many EA lamps that (imo) were not made properly because they will not hop onto an end table. I wrote a tutorial that shows how to change items like this so they will hop into slots that are the size of slots on endtables. The tutorial is HERE. Basically, you will need to clone the item as an override, change the relevant resources, and then remove all resources from the package that you did not edit. You may want to also change the footprint so it matches the size of the mesh more closely, but just changing the footprint will not make the item hop into surface slots. If you plan to share the items, you may want to renumber the slot (and footprint) resources because in some cases, EA has multiple items all referencing the same slot and footprint resource. If you make an override of a slot used by many items, your change will affect all the items using that slot resource, not just the one you intended to override. I've fixed a number of EA items that have this problem (not the lamps you've mentioned, unfortunately). To see an example, take a look at one of the flower items I fixed HERE.
