Hi all! I'm working on transforming the new toddler ball pit into a wading pool. I'd like to replace the ball pit effects with some of the splash effects from the base game. I've made a basic tuning override mod before, but this does not seem to be as straightforward.
What parts of the tuning are triggering the effects?
Can they be simply overridden to replace each effect tied to the ball pit with another effect of my choosing?

I don't own the toddler stuff pack so I cannot help there but I do know that there should be an effect listed in the object tuning and if you replace that value with another it should play that effect instead. hollyadee only the beta release has been updated for the toddler stuff pack. You can grab it HERE

That's what I was hoping for brujah! But the ball pit seems to be set up differently somehow? Either that or I'm completely missing the lines of code I'm looking for. I'm pretty sure that each animation for the ball pit triggers a slightly different effect but I haven't been able to find the lines that govern the effect. I've zipped up the extracted tuning for the object, object part, interactions and animation here. Could you take a look and see if you can find the lines I'm missing?

I see what you mean by not being able to find the effect. It isn't in the tuning. My next guess is that it is tied to the actual animation of the object. The issue there is that we are currently unable to export object animations in the same way as sim animations. You can still use the Game File Cruiser to find the instance of the ASM listed in the Animation Tuning resource then find the clips by reference. To my knowledge there is no tool available to edit actual effects yet.
