Wow! Looks like quite a mess you have there! lol, lets see what we can do. I need you to either post, or send me your package, so i can take a look at it. EDIT: If your issue is what think it is, you might be able to fix the problem by following my tutorial once your mesh is completed. The link is in my signature, its the one that says Fixing transparencies with hair.

after reading up the issue and experimenting myself, i figured out that it was a problem with the way my hair was built. it had quads instead of triangles. from what i understand, sims 4 converts any quad meshes to tris and that's why it looks all triangly. so changing it to triangles got rid of my problem it's not at all a transparency issue.. however, i have followed your tutorial for when i do have transparency issues and it works like a charm laracroftfan1
