How do I get rid of shadows on my mesh edit of a skirt?

hello! I've just made my first mesh edit in blender. It was a skirt from romantic garden stuff that I shortened.

but there're shadows at the end of the skirt and I have no idea how to get rid of them?  Any help is appreciated! xxx
