Ok, I'm going to post this here as I'm not entirely sure the best thread to post it in and thought 'General Chat' was a good place to start...
I'm very new to sims 4 studio and all I've pretty much done is change clothing categories and felt like it was a major achievement (I'm really not that great with "technie stuff"). However, I really want to start creating 18th century clothing for sims 4 as I think it is sorely needed; I completely blame felixandre for this as his game content is just stunning and the whole reason I've started playing more sims 4! (I'm already studying Marvelous Designer tutorials to get started with clothes making and will take that process one step at a time). But firstly I would really love to convert Lunasims wonderful Book Laptop from sims 3 to sims 4. It was an amazing piece of sims 3 custom content, very simple yet utterly necessary for players of historical games. I can't seem to find anything like it for sims 4 and sorely miss it. I have a feeling I've set myself a massive task with trying to convert it, but I would really love to try as using a modern laptop in an 18th century story/game just ruins the whole effect. Can anyone take pity on a custom content making/converting simpleton by pointing me in the right direction to get started. I think a lot of sims 4 players would love to have Lunasims Book Laptop in game and I hope it will earn me brownie points and its a shameful ploy to earn sims 4 fans/friends :oP
