I recently updated my Macbook to High Sierra and downloaded Candy Apple, and everything runs smoothly until I go to add swatches to my creations. The window where I can select the swatch file I want to upload pops up, but when I click 'open' the program freezes and I can't get out of it unless I force quit. Occasionally I can successfully upload the file, but the program moves so extremely slowly when I'm trying to change the swatch thumbnail color or add a new swatch. I don't understand why this is or what I can do to fix it. All of my previous versions of S4S worked perfectly fine but Candy Apple is pretty much unusable for me. Any feedback?

I'm on Sierra and I was planning to update to High SIerra in hope that s4s would run better! From me it's pretty much unusable, it's just unresponsive most of the time. According to Activity Monitor, S4S (opened a second ago) is using 18% of CPU capability (without any package open!) (my comp specs: 2,5 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3). By contrast Safari, with over 30 tabs open, is using 5.6%, and my photo editor (Affinity Photo) is using less then 10%.

I'm having trouble running Sims 4 Studio Candy Apple as well. I am running the latest version (1.2.0.4) and I recently updated to High Sierra. Both before and after High Sierra, Candy Apple has been almost entirely non-functional as soon as I leave the main menu to do anything, particularly in the warehouse tab. It takes a couple minutes to respond to just change the swatch color. I had Apple Martini before the pets update and it ran very smoothly and quickly. For reference, Activity Monitor says S4S is only using 2% of my CPU capability. My processor is the 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5.

I also recently updated to High Sierra with Candy Apple (1.2.0.5). I haven't needed to force quit (yet) but it is so slow, it takes forever for the studio to register a single click. Everything's fine until where you guys all had issues, I had Appletini before and it was perfect. Hope this gets fixed soon. Edit: I saw the newest update which I currently have, same issues.
