Isuue with AOM Playable Pets mod and broken comment field

I have this file in my mods folder but it's like it's not there at all. I click on the pet's photo in the control panel to control it but there isn't any control for the pet. I don't get any errors and it didn't give out any last exception file info. This is what I don't understand. Nothing happens to show it's a broken mod. It just totally stopped working for me. I even tried deleting the file and placing another copy in my mods folder. I have removed every mod/script in my folder and left this one and it still didn't work. Before Seasons I was able to click the pets icon in control panel and tell it to go here and there/jump on a counter/sit or lie down here, etc ... but nothing at all works this way now. Could a pet clothing CC cause this? I don't have the clothes on the pet but it is in its panel for it to change into.

Hello!! I am new to this, so I'm sorry if I do something wrong! So, I am having a problem with this mod.. Each time I download it and put it into my game, it gives me an error code ((I think it was something like 123:9d5d0e8f:b1dc02d or something very close to it)) and below it says to quit and start the game again. It happens every time I try loading the family I play on, and after removing it, I never got it again. It started doing this after the Seasons update.

Edit: Also, the download I had was the 3/29/2018 download. 

Thank you for the suggestion! I updated them before and it didn't work ((this was around the 21st I think..)) but I'll give it another try since more stuff got updated!  

Edit: Everything is updated and I got it again :( the error code is " 104:9b9d47e5:f77ecd2e ". This time was a little bit different though.. It loaded my family, but the error code popped up when I tried going to a restaurant with my family. Even though I didn't get a LE notification in the game, I got one in my game's folder. 

It may be because my computer is kind of old and more or work instead of gaming.. but I haven't had this problem until after the update.. It might also be some of my clothing/hair mods, since I have a lot and I know many of them are super old.. Thank you for the info though! I'll have to try repairing it. :D

Hi. I've not been able to get AOM Playable Pets to function for a bit now, as well. I'd say it stopped working for me sometime between June and August. I took it out of my Mods folder because when I attempt to click on my pet to see its needs, it doesn't switch from the active human sim to the pet. I do not get an error code as someone else had mentioned, the mod simply does not work. I tested to make sure none of my other mods were conflicting with AOM by removing all other mods except for AOM. I'm currently running Sims 4 version 1.46.18.1020 with all expansions and stuff packs that are currently available installed. Can anyone confirm whether AOM is still working for them or not?

EDIT: For anyone reading this that is still having issue with AOM not working in their game, make sure it is directly in your Mods folder and not in ANY other subfolder. So you should go Mods > AOM Playable Pets and inside the AOM folder should be your files (Obviously). I had mine too deep before and it did not function due to this. It used to be fine, prior to the June 2018 patch but with that patch, i think affected something and made it so that you can't store AOM folder that deep anymore. My issue was solved.
