I’m having problems with fixing my meshes after the patch and I just can’t find a solution. I would be very grateful for any suggestions! 1. With the patch EA changed their default shadow map. After adjusting mine in blender (so fiddling with shadow plane only), suddenly my whole mesh looks weird when it interjects other objects without moo.
(I can't seem to embed any screenshots, so here are the links)
old version (not ideal, but passable) new versionOK, I've figured it out – it was a weight paint problem, duh. But I'm still stuck with the shadow problem: 2. My meshes were double sided (I cloned a tissue box and edited lods in warehouse). Now even new clones have transparency issues, so the only way to fix it was to clone a plant. Unfortunately, even with a blank spec and normal (the same I used previously), my objects have weird lines/shadows on them in the outside light. In desperation I deleted the occluders, but it didn’t changed anything . old version outside new version outside

After many, many more clones, this is what I've established – if I use a clutter item or a plant with shadow LODs, there are transparency issues (like those reported post-patch ones). If I use a plant without shadow LODs, the object has weird shadows if placed outdoors. I was trying to compare plants' and clutter's Model LODs in Warehouse, to find out what could be the difference (other than shadow LODs), but so far I have nothing :/.EDIT: I don't want to bump the thread again, but here's the link to Peacemaker-ic's tutorial solving the transparency/shadows issue.
