Hello! I have been trying to update my CAS trait for the DnC patch. I've done everything correctly, but I still have a few problems. One of them is that if I wanted to make a change, I would have to go back into Zerbu's mod constructor and make changes, then have to copy and paste everything back in to make it updated. Is there a way to not have to do this? Right now at this moment I want to change a buff's chances of appearing and I don't want to have to go through this trouble. The fact I have two versions of this trait is also making this a pain!
My other problem, not related to the patch, is that one of the buffs never appears. I had it appearing way in the beginning, but whenever I test it out it never shows up. This was even before the patch. If it matters, it does share a loot component with one of the buffs that does appear. I checked out the buff in studio and it says its visibility is true, so what am I doing wrong? I am willing to send screenshots and/or the package.

I would recommend that you, instead of using Zerbu's mod constructor, extract the tuning of some of the traits that are already in the game and try to replicate the basis of those codes. Zerbu's mod constructor is outdated and the coding for the traits have been changed since it's release.
This would also give you a much better understanding of how the traits actually works and it would not feel like a pain every time you have to update it.
I am not 100% sure what you mean about the shared action loots and one buff not appearing but I would be willing to take a look at the package for you.

Is there any tutorial to do that kind of stuff? I have no knowledge of anything whatsoever, I feel like. Here's the download for the package, though. www.mediafire.com/file/idodp46uf07352y/EdgyV2.packageI am a little tentative to dive into making traits by scratch, but if it comes to it then I guess I'll have to learn.

I just had a quick look at the package right now.
If you just want to adjust the chance of the buff appearing, open the package in S4S and go to the two Action Loots, HotDawg_Edgy_LootLoot and HotDawg_Edgy_LootLoot2 and change the number of the base chance. This is based on percentage, so if you just want to change it to see if the buff still works, tune it up to 100 for instance.
