Hi, So I'm new to this and wanted to try my hand at making some animations packs. However I am interested in exporting the rigs to Maya and working them there instead of in Blender. I understand that S4S only exports to Blender and I installed Blender and intend to use it as a bridge between S4S and maya. However when I go to export fbx's to maya I'm missing the torso and arms. However if i export as an obj I'm able to retain the torso. I also happen to lose the textures when exporting as an fbx (Not sure if this matters when i finally export back into S4S). Can anyone help me out here? Thanks!

Hi ringojingo, I am able to export the rig as .fbx and then import it back into Blender without loss of the torso and arms. I don't have Maya, so I cannot test that but it seems possible there is an issue with Maya and .fbx. I can send you the .fbx I exported if that might help you troubleshoot. LINK

Hey thanks. Same issue for me when importing your FBX into Maya. I guess blender's FBX exporter in 2.7 is outputing an old version of the fbx and it's getting read incorrectly in maya.
BTW. When you export from blender as an FBX does your blender have a drop down to select whether to export as ASCII or BINARY fbx? I've been looking at the blender help docs and they have screenshots showing how to swap them but I dont see the option in 2.7.
Thanks again!
