Change shirt design to a different top.

Hello, I've never even considered changing my CC or anything myself, never been good with graphic arts. Recently I got this to delete Alpha hair cas from my game for Clay re-textures and I'm wondering if there's an easy way to change the mesh of a shirt but keep the over arching design. I am in LOVE with the designs on sweater but I can't stand how it bulges out and the edges are sharp. I'd rather it be on a slimmer built sweater. Is there a way to basically copy the design and paste it on a new mesh?
