Hello, I'm new to creating custom content in Sims 4 and I really need some help. I used to do some very mild modding on sims 2, and recently started self-teaching myself how to create content on Sims 4 through tutorials and such, but I've hit a weird bug. I took a child's hairstyle from Vintage Glamour and edited the mesh in Blender to fit an adult. Everything seems fine and the hair looks perfect in Sims 4 Studio, but once I play it in the game my sim has a weird black line on her face and forehead. I tried playing the game in all the different graphic settings for sims and it didn't change anything. I've also experienced a similar issue when I tried to edit the Spooky Stuff Pack fairy dress. In that scenario I got weird black lines on the shoulders. Would someone mind looking at my package for the hairstyle and see if they can figure out where I went wrong? Thank you! -Ashley Click Here for Package

Hi, welcome to the forum! Have you by any change edited/deleted the shadow, bump or specular textures? Can you provide an image in game of the issue? You can use imgur.com to upload the image and then paste the link here.

Hi, thank you for your response! For the shadow and specular textures I imported the textures from the child's original hairstyle. Would that cause issues? Here is a screen cap of what shows up in my game.

Just like meshes, children uvs and adults uv might differ a little.. you notice how the shadow texture cuts abruptly on the neck. I suggest exporting the shadow texture, opening it on your image editor and checking out what can be done there. Either manually smoothing the edges of the main layer or alpha channel and saving it as .dds dxt5 with alpha when you're done. Or i highly suggest you do your own shadow texture so it fits perfectly with the mesh's shape. Please READ THIS TUTORIAL that i assure you will be very useful in the future
