I was referencing the CASpart UV template brujah posted, and I'm wondering would it be around where you'd place a hat..? These are the earrings:

I see r brow l, r lip l and r nose l on that one (I noticed it when I scrolled to that map too), whereabouts does it indicate where the helixes would go?

in the earrings section. it's at the top as well. I tried posting my texture there and it didn't show up, and in Sims 4 Studio I replaced the mesh with a pre-existing earring's one - the earring texture did not show up over the piercings.

did you bake the texture in blender? once you bake it you can then import the image into s4s

I was planning on pasting my exported UV map (png image) in the right spot according to the template. I created the texture over the uv map image already. I am new to this.

It seems my blender version is too old for the data transfer modifier, I haven't been able to get a newer version working with S4S :/ Is there a way to bake the texture without it or will I need to figure out how to make a newer version work?

you'll need to download a second version of blender as a zip. i suggest blender 2.77
