That super faint line on the neck is what I mean. It was so hard to get a picture of but it is never super visable just sometimes when she moves her head in certain ways and I am guessing it's the weight paint or Uv_1 ? Can someone help me pinpoint what is wrong? >///< Package: simfileshare.net/download/448869/Blender file: simfileshare.net/download/448876/

Hi! That line is part of the skin planes in your mesh groups. Maybe there's something on the textures or their alpha that you missed. If that's not it then i suggest selecting the edges and scaling them a bit so they move inside of the head a bit. In Edit Mode, press 1 to change into front view. Left click the center of the mouth to set the cursor. Change Pivot Point to 3D cursor (picture below). Then press 6 on your numb pad several times until your camera is set as it is shown below. Select the vertices and press S to scale them and move them inside. Move your cursor slightly to scale them inwards. You'll have to do this on all mesh groups.

inabadromanceI think it isn't the texture because it's like a line that only pokes out when she moves her head in a certain way but most of the time it looks perfect and clean I did try the scaling and it made it much worse Also do you know how to make this one strand not deform when they move their head? The one on the left side =)

Can you please share your updated blend? Aaah actually I accidently changedstuff in a earlier blend file that is probably why it didn't work OTL So now I got the line away but there is some funky colours around the hairline and I really don't know how to not make that one strand deform =/ But here is the updated blenderfile: simfileshare.net/download/448876/and this is the strange hairline colour I mean Sorry for posting so much here on the forum and thank you soo much for the help <3

that's alright! have you edited anything apart from the mesh? because that wasn't happening before, and moving the vertices shouldn't cause that hairline issue.

Hmm! What i did was remove all skin parts and resized what was left into the head. I'm not really sure what those shadows were. I couldn't see them in blender. So in all, if you ever have issues with this, i would suggest removing the skin parts and molding the hair if needed. I'm surprised you're not having it on the other side since there's quite a bit of skin there as well. But that's good XD Also, none of the other mesh groups have meshes... are you going to leave it like that? Once somebody tries to wear hats, they'll just get a bald sim instead. EDIT: As for the other issue with the moment. I tried editing it a bit, not sure if the change is noticeable. But i suggest reading THIS GUIDE and applying that to your mesh. Use the SMOOTH brush to smooth the weight, and then press "normalize all".

inabadromance When I tried just moving in those vertices into the head that's when the shadows showed up in game but the way you did it they didn't so that's great! I actually am having the same issue on two other hairs that are kind of similiar to this one and one of them actually have the issue on both sides, especially on a bigger framed sim. So I am guessing I can just try what you did on those two hairs also? =) This particular one won't be hatcompatible because there is just too much hair so I thought I could keep it like this x) Or do you have any other tips for those? Thank you I will try that! The weight and UV stuff is super hard for me to wrap my head around for some reason OTL Also is there a way to fix these warping problems? Is it all weight paint issues?

Yeap, you can apply this to any hair. As for the hat chops, i don't really have any easy/quick method.. i do it manually. Please read THIS THREAD. Everything takes time, reading and actual practice. You have to start somewhere, preferably with the basics and then move forward. There's people that just want to jump into what's considered "advanced" from the get go.. asking a million questions at once not realizing that it would have been easier to have a solid base that surely will cover all those questions AND give you the proper build to actually understand what's being explained. Personally, when i started, i didn't just stay with what's on here.. if i didn't understand something i would google for it and read it from other perspective such as forums and youtube... and i really like trying out and testing what tools do in each program i use. But i guess no everybody goes through all that. I'm so sorry, i rambled a lot here XD:

inabadromance Thank you! I am now trying to apply this for the 3 hairs with problems ^-^ <3 Oh I didn't even think about using the knife tool I have always done the hatchops manually xD Yeah it is good to have a solid base to stand on and go from there! I have tried googling and asking my boyfriend and trying new things to make things work and working on simple things with basic step by step tutorials. I did start with recolours =)

Oh! i didn't see those images on your last post. i think i replied while you were editing or something :P
Umm.. your hair molds with the body... there's not really a way to mold things depending on what clothing she's wearing. You'll have to mold the hair so that it's less near the body if you want to avoid that type of clipping.
Recolors is a great start! Mind you, i was talking in general not about you. Just things i've picked up. Like someone wanting to create an alpha hair from scratch without having done or learnt anything else. Those types of things.

inabadromance Ah yeah I'm sorry I thought I could edit them in so I don't bump the post too much but you had already answered when I was done ^^; Yes I know that, it's just that it clips in to the body slightly too, and in the back of the head it creates a funky line roughly in the middle when they turn their head >//> Oh wow that is very hard as a first choice
