Still trying to get the hang of this. Would someone be able to help me out? 1. Is it possible to create poses without overriding traits or is that just the way it works? 2. Um...how do I put her on the ground?

1. It's just the way it works. 2. Select root_bind bone and move it down by Z axis.

Wait what ? Of course you can without overriding traits. You simply create a normal posepack that will only work through the poseplayer.
This is why there is : clip pack and Override as options when you create animations

I should have been more specific. Zelrish is correct, for game you can create pose packs, there is no need to override animations anymore. But for CAS you need to override a trait.

Thanks guys How about facial expressions? I'm having some trouble finding helpful tutorials on that topic. I can't for the life of me figure out how it works. Probably pretty simple, I'm sure, I just have to learn the right way and then I'll be good.
