Hello everyone, I started making CC a short while back after following some tutorials, but for some reason my stuff never ends up the same way as the tutorial. Can someone point out to me what i am doing wrong based on the screenshot? I think it's my texture baking settings that might be off, I use Blender to mesh and Bake, and then import it into S4S. If someone can see what i am doing wrong, just by looking at this screen, it would be much appriciated.

I think i have figured it out, by using a secondary program (name won't be mentioned) to look. The Loveseat i made is made with Blender and S4S like i already mentioned before, but the issue is it only shows (with this particular loveseat) the Texture at the Texture tab, and not the Normal & Specular maps. With the other program i could look at those as well and found that the swirl in my screenshot looks alot like something in the Normal map. Could this really be the issue instead of my texture bakes? and if so, can someone point me into the right direction on how to make a normal map? Thanks in advance!

Hi! You have to see the bump and speculars on the WAREHOUSE tab. Click the tab, order by "type" and you'll see all the DST images there.

I'll keep that in mind next time, now i need to learn how to make the other images thats needed too. I know now how to bake, and how to make normals. So if anyone who reads this, can point me into the right direction i would greatly appreciate it

This is 100% a problem with you Normal Map image. You will also need to edit the Specular as well. This tutorial shows one method of making a normal map> sims4studio.com/thread/861/normal-maps-bump-editing-creatingIt shows a CAS item but the same technique applies to objects. The Specular is what is making the wood on the seat look really, really shiny. If you don't need your object to have a particular level of shine added to it then you could just search the forums here for and import a blank specular. Sorry, I don't remember which thread they are in.
