Hey guys, I joined because I had a wee problem. I'm getting back into being a sims cc creator. I want to know how to make a high quality lipstick. I get the basics on making a lipstick, but it looks a bit pixel-like in the sims 4 studio program. I want it to look smooth and clean. I always search for large images to use when making the CC. I am also working from the latest MacBook Pro. Best, Hey guys here's the post updated with an image! Best!

I have tried bicubic sharpener for size reduction and also raising the dpi. Any other suggestions as to why you think it mat be happening? I watched someone on youtube do the same process as I have but her content looked great? didn't look pixelated at all

Hi kismet2vp, Good to see you already figured it out. About the bumping, people here on the forum aren't here 24/7, bumping threads won't help you getting help earlier. Some people might think it's annoying and therefor won't help you at all. So next time if you make a thread, just wait patiently for at least one day, but it can even be longer before you're recieving any help. You also said you figured it out and wanted to share the result which is absolutely fine of course, but even better would be if you also shared the solution to your problem, so other people having the same problem can get help looking at your post too. The lipstick looks beautiful by the way, great job!

Hey Bakie, I was on my way to sharing my solution afterwards here. I shared it on the simsforums. Sorry about the bumping by the way but when I start to learn something and can't figure it out it makes me mad anxious. So I started to try to find more solutions myself aha. I tagged you in where Mac users could find a .DDS plug in for photoshop and I'll do it here. It works for CS6+ and up Plug-In
Getting the .DDS plug in pretty much fixed the problem 85% and the rest was me just trying to edit and make the lipstick look more pretty. It looks shiny in game though so I'm working on fixing that or using a Maxis matte lipstick for the base instead. Much love

Hey kismet2vp, Thanks for sharing! I totally understand that feeling of desperately searching for answers when trying to mod something and the result isn't what you wanted. I have that a lot myself too and I also can't stand it if I don't have a solution to it as fast as possible, but unfortunately we're not the only ones looking for help while modding, so we have to try to keep calm as long as possible. What helps is taking a step back from your project sometimes, maybe working on some other mods instead and then eventually a solution will come to your problem most of the time.
