Okay so I'm making this hair Which is a frankenmesh of these two hairs i used the headband + hairline from the first, + the back of the hair of the second. this what my resulting dds file looks like but the issue is that since i moved the textures from the first hair around from where their original place was; as WELL as editing the UVs in the hair in blender, it gets all wonky when i try to do the same thing with other textures (sorry if i'm not explaining this well): so idrk how to fix this or if i can. thanks for reading!

Hi! Please share your package and blend files so someone can take a look. It's very difficult to help you out without seeing the actual project.

See.. the UV isn't wrong by what i'm seeing. I exported the texture you have in your blend and imported into the package. The pattern looks perfect. But when i exported the violet version and put it in the blend.. the texture doesn't match. Have you overlapped both textures right? Maybe one of them is a bit off. I tried moving the UV around so that the violet version matches, in case the other for some reason still looks good.. but nope, then the other looks bad. I would check that the texture is on the same space, and how the original hair is placed.
What i would do is first place the bandana texture where i want it to be. Then edit the UV accordingly. Then overlapped the other variations . Is that how you've done it?
